Gerard couldn't help but feel like a monster. Everything was a blur, like he was looking through a foggy window, but he still remembered it all somehow. The shocked look on Frank's face was the worst part.
He didn't how it happened, it just happened somehow. One day he woke up to an odd ache in his neck. It wasn't like a pain where he slept on it wrong, it felt like it was burning. He shrugged it off and continued throughout the day normally.
That's when it happened. That night when he went to bed, his neck felt like it was on fire.
Pretty soon it disappeared, and he tried going to sleep. He tossed and turned in bed all night, trying to get comfortable, but sleep didn't come. His eyelids drooped serval times, but still no luck.
Then he felt it. The thing that would change his life forever.
He felt extremely thirsty. It wasn't a normal thirst, it felt like he has been in the desert for months without water. Gerard felt if he didn't get water soon, he would die of dehydration.
He shot out of bed and ran into the kitchen. He slid in front of the fridge, grabbed the handle, and yanked open the door. The water pitcher was in front of him and he grabbed it, eagerly drinking it right out of the pitcher. He put it back in the fridge and slammed the door, the water made his throat feel worse.
The rest of it was unclear to him, a vague memory. He remembered hearing voices outside, and him rushing out the door. He remembered three teenagers, maybe about sixteen years old.
Then it seemed like he blacked out.
The next thing he remembered was him leaning over three dead bodies. All of them looked pale and fragile, each had holes in their necks and blood coming out of the holes.
Gerard stared in horror. He didn't feel the thirst anymore.
"Gerard...?" It was Frank's voice behind him. Gerard whirled around and got a good look of where he was. He was right by the backdoor to his house. Did he drag the people over here? He couldn't remember.
Gerard was somewhat horrified by his expression. Frank's expression was a mix of sadness, shock and fright.
"I-I didn't do this," Gerard stammered.
Frank shook his head no. "I saw you," He barely whispered.
They just stared at each other for a few seconds. Gerard stared at him in shock and disbelief. Frank stared at him in shock and fright.
Frank barely knew Gerard, but he knew he was an amazing singer and he seemed very nice. He just couldn't imagine him doing something like this.
Then again, he sort of reminded him of a vampire. It was his pale skin and black hair. How he stays in a dark room almost all the time.
"I won't hurt you," Gerard said quietly. He turned his back to Frank so he couldn't see the horrified look in his eyes. "Vampires will never hurt you."
