The next morning, Ethan took me to go to the Converse Store in the Santa Monica Mall, as soon as I walked in the doors Ethan turned to me, "Knock yourself out, I will pay for you."

"I can't let you pay for my things." I argue hitting him on the shoulder.

"Consider it as a welcome home gift Sis." He hugged me.

"Thank you!" I exclaimed running off to find some shoes. We must have been at the store for at least an hour mostly because it was hard to find good designs in my size, before we reached the check out. "Your total will be $250.78. Sir, I will need your number as well." The female cashier flirted.

"Here is the money, I'm pretty sure that the store doesn't need my number to buy my sister's shoes. Besides, I have a fiancee whom I love very much. I do wish you luck finding a boyfriend with those pick up lines." Ethan says not bothered by the cashier's antics.

"Sorry, I was just dumped by my six year boyfriend over the phone. Have a nice day." She apologized handing us the bag with my stuff in it. We just nodded walking out of the store feeling slightly sorry for the cashier.
