CHAPTER TWELVE
Sam slowly and quietly opens and closes the door to his house.
He takes of his shoes and slips into his room.
It's about 2 a.m.
"Hey sweetie." Michelle whispers.
"Hey." Sam says getting undressed for bed.
"How was your day?" She asks.
"Same old same old." He replies and gets into bed.
He kisses her and then lays his head on the pillow and closes his eyes. "Goodnight, I love you!"
"Goodnight. I love you to." She closes the light and falls into his arms and they go to sleep.

Alexa and Callen arrive outside Callen's home.
"Well today was a very interesting day." He says.
"Was it? I didn't notice." She replies.
"Am I ever going to find out what happened?" He asks.
"When I do, you will." She replies and walks into the house.
He sighs and follows.
"Alexa." He says closing the door.
"Yeah sweetie." She says turning to face him.
"I love you." He smiles.
"I love you too." She says and wraps her arms around his neck.
He pulls her closer by her waist and their lips touch.
