"Please Layla, wake up." I heard a familiar irish accent say. I slowly tried to open my eyes, but it felt like cement blocks were holding them closed. I wanted to kick and scream but I couldn't. I was just so damn tired.
Niall's POV
"I just want you to know how sorry I am. And Lays if you can hear me, theres one thing you should know....." I have to tell her how sorry I am for everything I've done in the past few months.
"What did you n-need to t-tell me?" She struggled to say.
"Lays, I'm not mad you're pregnant."
"It's about time." She chuckles softly.
It was at this time that the doctor comes in to tell Layla what is going on with her body and the pregnancy.
"Hi Layla, I'm Doctor Archer. You and your babies are both in good health, but if you want to stay that way, I'm having you put on bed rest for the rest of your pregnancy. You're very young which makes a twin pregnancy very risky." The doctor told her.
"So I have to stay in bed for the next 4 months?" Layla looked like she wanted to cry. "So that my babies live?"
"No, no Layla. So that your body doesn't get too stressed out." Doctor Archer said again
"Well, can I find out the gender of my babies now so I can cancel my appointment for next week?" Layla says out of the blue.
"Of course."
Layla
Doctor Archer grabbed the ultrasound gel and spread some on my bump. She pushed around trying to find the perfect angle to tell me the sex of Baby A.
"Baby A is playing Hide and Seek with me butttt," she pauses, "it's a girl!" I smile so wide, I've always wanted a girl.
"And Baby B is a boy!" She says, pointing to his small penis on screen. "I'll leave you two here to celebrate the sexes of your babies."
"Sam, we're having a girl and a boy! Both. 2 for the price of 1 kinda deal don't you think?" I laugh.
"Uh definitely not for the price of one." Sam shakes his head, laughing. "I have a surprise for you once we get home."
