Chapter 15: Spotlight

"Name, age, and talent?"the girl in glasses asked me.

"I'm June Griffin, 20 and I think I'm lost I didn't come for a audition."I told her.

"Eh? But you were in line."she told me.

"Uhm the thing is I was lost, and I'm also a tourist so I didn't really know what was going on."I tried to reason out. Good thing she actually believed me, it took her a while though.

So I'm here now walking myself out of this place, and for some reason I'm lost again. This place is huge how come people can familiarize this place like on the spot? Gosh! I saw a wide red door, I guess that's the exit. The moment I opened it a girl with black hair approached me.

"There you are. Are you the replacement?"she asked me. Eh? Replacement?

"I think you're mistaken."I told her. But next thing we knew three people seated in the middle started yelling at her, calling her attention and told her to start already.

"Yes Director."she replied back. She was about to leave me but I stopped her as I grab her arm.

"What are you actually doing? Do you need any help?"I asked her. She was surprise upon my offer but I was even more surprised with myself. She was obviously having an audition and here I am trying to help her. Could I even be of help?

"Really? Can you sing and dance?"she asked.

"More likely yes."I awkwardly said.

"Well then that's great, you know Red Velvet's Pee-ka-boo?"she asked. I just nodded in response, well that song is trending world wide of course I know it. "Can you sing and dance with me? I'd really appreciate it."she added. I accepted her favor, well it's not like I'm doing something illegal or anything .

As the music started, the staff handed me a microphone so as the girl, as the music started she started singing and here I am actually following her lead. When it reached the chorus it was my turn to sing, well even though it's my first time singing and dancing for someone else I kind of feel awkward yet I tried my best not to mess up. I can't bare to let her get humiliated because of my mistake. Good thing the judges actually liked our performance, she even passed. Thank goodness.

When we both got out of the building, some people came rushing towards us. I bet they're her fans club or somewhat friends.

"Oh my gosh! Jilian you are so awesome!"a brunette girl said.

"So did you passed?"a brown haired girl said. Then black haired girl or what they call Jillian nodded.

"REALLY?!!!!' Omg! We need to celebrate finally you're going to be a star."the short haired girl said. Okay I'm kind of out of place I better leave.

"Well it wouldn't happen if big sis here didn't help me."Jillian said as she hugged me.

"Really? Thank you so much for helping our little Jillian here. Chelsea couldn't make it to the auditions."the brunette girl said.

"No problem. I just happened to pass by the place."I told them.

"But actually you were great back there. Are you a celebrity or something?"Jillian asked, I couldn't stop myself from blushing, I don't usually get compliments like this.

"Why thank you. And I'm no celebrity."I said as I scratched my head, they are actually making me a bit of uncomfortable.

"Well anyhow, I'm Jillian by the way. Jillian David."she introduced herself.
