Chapter 15- Schizo

I hear the doors to the TARDIS open, and I quickly get up off the floor to see the Doctor, Rose, and Mickey walk in with solemn faces. "You guys look super depressed," I awkwardly said. I was never good at comforting people. "Hi, Clarke," Rose answers before turning towards the Doctor.  "Why her? Why did they think they could repair the ship with the head of Madame de Pompadour?" Rose asks. "I thought you guys just went to see a spaceship," I take the post-it note off of the screen.  "We'll probably never know. There was massive damage to the computer memory banks. It probably got confused. The Tardis can close down the time windows now the droids are gone. Should stop it causing any more trouble," the Doctor shrugs. "Wait, where did you guys go?" I skip over to the trio. Mickeys gaze bounces from me to the Doctor, and he grabs a hold of Roses' hand. "Come on Rose, it's time you showed me around the rest of this place," Mickey pulls a worried looking Rose away from the console and into the maze of hallways. 

The Doctor stands leaning against the console quietly, with a sealed envelope in his hand. I slowly walk over to him and place a hand on his shoulder. "Hey, what's wrong?" I say quietly. He runs his thumb over the red seal on the envelope before stuffing it into his coat pocket. "How are you feeling?" he turns to me. "Ah, nope. You can't just shut up when I ask about the chisme. I live for that shit," I let out a soft chuckle. "You should change those bandages. It could get infected. Infections are the worst, especially when you're a banana. Fruits are so helpless, so naive," he mutters and gently touches the bandages around my neck. "Hey," I take his hands away from my neck and intertwine our fingers. "If you don't tell me what's wrong I'll have to jump out into space and explode," I give him a lopsided smile, and hear him chuckle.
