While Rose was stuck doing the dishes, I decided to pay the Doctor a little visit.

I spotted him sitting alone at a long table and walked over there, slapping my dirty rag on the table in front of him. "Two freaking days," I reminded him. "I think you missed a spot," he smiles. "Two freaking days cleaning tables and scraping food off of plates. Also, I have to wear a hair net," I point to the black net that gathered my hair. "Blame Roses' boyfriend. He's the one who called us here. And he was right. Boy in class this morning, got a knowledge way beyond planet Earth," the Doctor popped a fry in his mouth. Mickey was the boyfriend Rose had left behind to travel with the Doctor. We had met Mickey a couple days ago when he had first told us about his suspicion towards the school. I personally thought Mickey was a funny guy. "You're really eating those? They look gross," I point out. "Yeah, they're a bit different," he shrugs. "They probably put drugs in it so the kids will turn into zombies," I whisper. "And now they have an alien zombie," I poke his head. Out of the corner of my eye, I see the head lunch lady thundering towards, and I quickly skip away back into the kitchen before I get dragged into a lecture.

I wander around before finally finding Rose at the kitchen sink, drying her hand with a towel. "Rose," I call. She turns around and presses her full lips into a straight line, motioning me over with her hand. I quietly hurry next to her and see her point towards the door that led into the break room. Two women were hauling a massive barrel with foreign symbols on its side into the kitchen, wearing masks and gauntlets. I hear a phone ring and quickly look to Rose. She pulls out her cell and moves a couple feet away to take the call. "Three months ago, turns out all the kitchen staff was replaced. And this lot are weird," I heard Rose mutter behind me, talking to who I assumed was Mickey. "Look out!". I gasp as the barrel topples over, and its contents spill onto one of the women. "I've gotta go," Rose shoves her cell into her pocket and we rush over to the wailing woman on the floor. "Call an ambulance!" I rush. "No need for that," the second woman quickly picks up the woman and rushes the injured one into the office and closes the blinds. "What are you doing?!" I yell. The woman exits the office and leans her heavy figure against the door as a sound louder than a gunshot echoes from the office. Before I can rush forward to help, the woman sends an exaggerated smile and opens the door to reveal a wall of smoke, stepping inside to enclose herself in the office. "What the hell?" I hear Rose exclaim and I turn to see her crouched over the metal barrel. "What?" I lean over her and see that the liquid was now eating through the metal barrier. "What do we do now?" I ask. "Dishes still need cleaning," Rose frowns. "We can't leave now or they'll notice and our cover will be blown," Rose gets up and heads back to the sink. "I think I'd rather have a spoonful of whatever was in here than wash dishes."

We walk through the barren school, the shadows casting haunting figures through the hallways. "Oh, it's weird seeing the school at night. It just feels wrong. When I was a kid, I used to think all the teachers slept in school at night," Rose shuddered next to me. "Are you kidding? When I was a kid I wasn't even in school during the day," I laugh quietly. "All right, team. Oh, I hate people who say, team. Er, gang. Er, comrades. Anyway, Rose, go to the kitchen. Get a sample of that oil. Mickey, the new staff are all Maths teachers. Go and check out the Maths department with Clarke. I'm going to look in Finch's office. Be back here in ten minutes," we all spread out in different paths to get to our destinations. While I followed Mickey down the hall, I felt grateful that the Doctor had kept his promise to me and used my alias instead of my actual name. It sounded strange to me now, which is ironic since I've had the name for my whole life. "Where's the maths department?" Mickey pipes up. I stop in my tracks and look around. "We'll figure it out," I shrug and take the lead.
