Did You Hear? I'm Back!

Chapter 2

Percy's POV

I was sad, mad, and just plain angry. I put all of my emotions into a humungous earthquake that even shook the gods and quickly made my escape. I wasn't even tired. That's funny. Anyway, I made my way down to the path that led to the elevator for the empire state building. I was about to step into the elevator when I heard Zeus roar.

"Don't let him go! Shut the gates! Shut the doors. Close everything he could get out through."

I knew he was saying that to Hermes because who else would he say it to? Since it was Hermes and he was on my side, I knew I had a few seconds but that didn't stop me from jumping in the elevator, hitting thebutton quickly, and paceing in that tiny space. Ugh. I wish I had more time.

As the elevator dinged and opened I dashed out. It was a bright sunny day in New York, so there were many tourists. I was lucky because then I could blend into the crowd.

-2 weeks later-

It's been two weeks since I left Olympus. Right now I'm sitting on a park bench. I'm disheveled and heart broken, dirty and angry. Everything bad happened after that boy came. I thought it would be great to have a brother, but I guess not. He took my girlfriend, friends, family (did I mention he started a fire that killed my mom, Paul, and my new little brother, max?), and my life.

I heard a crack. Then a snap. I got Riptide out and got into a fighting stance. The thing that came out surprised me. It was Athena. I had fought her yesterday! I've fought so many creatures in the last few weeks.

"He's here everyone!" she shouted over her shoulder.

I heard heard many footsteps and saw that there were many really good fighters were behind her. And I mean demigod fighters of course. I knew I couldn't fight them all off including a goddess so I was jsut about to surrender when a portal appeared out of no where between Athena and I. The person that stepped out was breath taking. He had so much power floating around him and in his aura. The guys eyes were pitch black with sprinkles of wight, silver, and gold so it looked like stars. He had a cloak on that had planets and comets and more stars on it moving around. His skin was a paleing tan but it looked good on him.

"Lord Chaos! " Athena said, bowing. "What is the pleasure?" She looked super surprised to see him.

I was about to bow when Chaos said, "Son, do not bow! You don't bow to your own father."

I was confused. "What do you mean, sir? I'm the son of Poseidon." I said.

Athena scoffed. "Atleast you WERE, Poseidon disowened you. I actually thought that was a smart move for the kelp head."

"Athena leave! You are not wanted here. The gods have caused enough trouble for one day."Chaos shouted/grumbled.

"But-" she was cut off by I guess, my father? "No buts about it! Leave and take the puny demigods with you."

As she was leaving I could tell that she was unhappy and couldn't wait to grumble to Zeus.

"Now my child. Let us start from the begginning at my palace."

Sorry It's short but I'm really busy so i thought that I'd get some up. So there it is.
