Did You Hear? I'm Back!

Chapter 4

Percy P.O.V.

The girl that replaced him looked to be about eleven. She had long caramel colored hair (and I mean long!) and scary silver eyes. A bow was slung over her sholder with a quiver of arrows. The girl had Man of Steel converse on and a Captain America sweatshirt. She was wearing ripped jeans and a little infinity diamond necklace. She looked pretty cool.

"Hi!" she said, "My name is Faith. It's an honor to meet you! Follow me to your room!!" She said all bubbly like a toddler who had just eaten a jar full of cookies.

She led me on a yellow brick path (wink wink) to a big archway that looked like it was new but the engraving said it was from the beginning of time. Through the archway was a big door, like the ones in medieval times.

"So what do ya like to do for fun?" Faith asked as she led me on.

"Oh you know, sword playing, training, eating blue food..." I answered.

"Oh my Chaos! Really? I like to do that stuff too! Except my food is purple!" She practically screamed.

Seriously? No way! I have never met anyone else who liked different colored food. I think we are going to be great friends, I thought.

"Plus I think your cute!" Faith muttered but I still heard her.

Awwww! How cute! She thought I was cute! She should see me with my shirt off. Oops! Don't mean to be so conceited. Anyway, we finally stopped and she pointed to a door.

"That's your room but I can't go in with you because I need to get to the throne room. When you are done settling in come to the throne room too. There will be a surprise! Oh and it's down this hall to the right and then go down the green slide. Not the red slide. I repeat, not the red slide." She quickly flashed out before I could ask any questions. I looked towards the door that she said was mine. It had a blank nameplate on it which I guess needed to be printed on later. As I opened the door my mouth dropped in awe.

The walls were all black with sparkly stars and planets all moving, making it look like space. There was a big king size bed in the corner of the room with a sea green comforter and pitch black sheets. The pillows were black with sea green swirls. Sweet!

There was a nightstand next to it which was black with a crystal knob on it. On the side of the room where the door was was a big matching dresser with a black flat screen t.v. on the top. In the middle of the room was a hole in the floor with a big silver pole coming out like they used to have at a fire fighter's station. I looked down into the whole and saw movement, but couldn't quite tell what it was. I didn't think twice and leaped onto the pole and slid down. When I got to the bottom I saw a whole beach just sitting there like it was normal to have a beach under your room. My mouth hung open in awe. That.... is..... awesome!!!

Then, I thought, I really must be going. They are probably waiting for me with whatever surprise they have.

I turned to go but then realized I couldn't get back up. The pole was too slippery.

Just then a rope appeared where the pole had been. Now this is just awesome!

I quickly climbed up the rope and was about to head out of my new room, but I saw a hallway to the side that I hadn't noticed before.

I guess I have a bit of time.

I headed down the hallway and froze at what I saw. There was a humungous kitchen which had stainless steel appliances. Fully stocked with every kind of food you could ever want. A doorway led to a bathroom about the size of my cabin back at camp. I winced. that hurt a little. Then, through a 10 foot doorway was a living room. The walls were a grayish blue and had tiny specks of green in it. The ceiling was 40 feet high and had massive crystal chandeliers hanging from it. there were 3 black couches all surrounding a fireplace with, hanging on top of it, the biggest t.v. I had ever seen. There was a coffee table in the center of the couches that was matching to the walls. There were 20 ft. windows, 2 on each side of the room, that looked over a basketball court, tennis court, lap pool, and swimming pool.

What happened to the beach?

Next to the fireplace were 2 French doors that opened up onto a spacious patio. Steps led down to a fish pond that had fish that were the colors of the rainbow.

There were stone paths that led to the various activities that had benches along side them with magnificent cut bushes with different shapes.

The sun was shining and glinting off the metal sides of a trampoline too. And may I add, the sun was purple.

I decided that would explore more later and get to that surprise thingy. As I walked back to my new bedroom I realized I needed to change out of these clothes. They were sticking to me from sweat. Plus they were dirty and everything. I went over to my new dresser and looked to see if there was anything in it.

Yes there was!

Every single design, shape, and color was in there!

I could stay here forever and never wear the same thing twice!

I changes into jeans and a tight black t-shirt that showed off my muscular stomach.

I knew I had been here way too long so quickly left and headed to the throne room.
