Did You Hear? I'm Back!

Chapter 9

Percy's POV

As everyone gathered in the throne room my family gathered around me.

"Dad!" One of my sons, Roy, called, "Can I come too?"

"Maybe later in the mission. I'll think about it." I answered, already deciding that he was not going to go.

"I want to go!"

"Me too!"

"What about me?"

"I would be so much better!"

"Not ah!"

"Whoah! If you are all going to fight about it no one can go!" I bellowed in answer.

"What?!" All of my children shouted together.

"Yes."

There were groans all around.

"Mom? What do you say?" One of them said and the rest turned to Lacy.

"I agree with your father. Maybe later but right now the answer is no."

"And you all know that she gets the last say." I added.

All of them nodded realizing that if they were good they might have a shot. They went to go mingle with their friends, waiting for the final speech and send off.

I talked with some of my own friends until Chaos walked in.

"Great Skintobebx! (A/N This is a planet) Did everyone have to come? It's not like the end of the world peeps! Wellllll maybe for one planet.... but not us!"

Some people grumbled, some people laughed, most just snorted. Typical Chaos!

"I realize that you all may be wondering who this mission is against. Or some of you are just here because...." Father then started to hum that one song from The Wizard of OZ. You know, the one that says, "Because, because, because, beacase, becaussssse, because of the wonderful things he does.". You know that one? yah....

"Anyway," Stepping out of his stuper, "at this moment the only people I know we are fighting against are the titans an-" he was cut off by Luke.

"Them? Why were you so worked up about them?"

"You didn't let me finish my dear boy." Father paused. "Also, the other person is..... my brother Order."

Everone stood there in the quietness that fell.. See, in the past few centuries that I've lived here, I have come to know that the evil force my father was talking to me about on my first day was, yes, my uncle. I was the first one to break the eary scilence.

"Ok! Let's go then!" I said smiling, all cheery.

People gaped.

"What? It's not everyday that you get to go to a planet with a humungeous sea!" I covered quickly.

I was about to say that it's not everyday you get to go back to your home planet, but I thankfully saved myself.

Eveyone laughed, knowing I loved the different oceans on every planet I had visited.

"Sweetheart, are you sure you want to go? I know it is difficult for you." Lacy whispered in my ear.

She is one of the only people not from Earth when I was there that know about my... predicament.

"I'm sure angel. Don't worry about me. I'll be fine and dandy." I said, kissing her forhead.

It looked like she was about to say more so I quickly called to all of the soldiers, "Alright! Time to go. Say good bye and we will be on our way."

I concentrated and a swirling portal appered. Yes, I can do almost anything except, well, never mind. I can do everything and anything.

"Ok soldiers! When we arrive you must all be in your proper formation. I will do all of the talking and when I ask, you must all either nod or something. If those of you that are from Earth would like to show yourself, you may step forward when I say! Now 3rd section first and next the 2nd, then 1st. Go!" My voice booming over the room.

As I was about to follow my lieutenant through the portal, Chaos spoke in my mind.

"Do not take your hood off. I repeat, do not take your hood off. Also, have a nice time."

I walked through the portal smirking and came out on the other side in the throne room of the gods to find them sitting there silently.

"Not arguing today, are we?" Was the first thing that came out of my mouth.
