Aragorn was working on some papers when he heard his study door get thrown open and Angel's little steps entering the room. Not looking up Aragorn continued his work as he heard his daughter's voice.
"Daddy guess who's here." Looking up Aragorn felt his heart sore. Legolas was standing in the doorway looking pretty rough but was still here. Aragorn didn't realize how much he had missed his friend.

Smiling and hugging his friend he couldn't help but see the hurt in Legolas's eyes.
Legolas soon broke down sitting on the couch and Aragorn was shocked hurrying over to him. Angel of course made it there first and started comforting Legolas. "We both love you" that was right they did both love him.
Confirming what his daughter said Aragorn watched as Legolas's eyes lit up. "I love you to" Aragorn smiled and they sat for a few minutes till Angel asked if they could play now. Aragorn broke out in a laugh and so did Legolas they both jumped up chasing after the little girl.

"Your it uncle Legolas" Angel squeeled darting our of the room. Legolas smiled chasing after her as Aragorn ran after them both. Making it outside Legolas scooped Angel up laughing then set her down and climbed a tree "I believe you are it Angel." .

Angel giggled at Legolas hiding in the tree and spun around going after Aragorn. Turning quickly Aragorn went to run but tripped landing on his back and Angel squeeled in delight tagging him. "Now your it daddy"

Getting up Aragorn watched Legolas jump out of the tree and take off down a path and Aragorn fallowed close behind. Catching up quickly Aragorn outstretched his arm to tag Legolas but noticed Legolas quickly stop. Smashing into the back of Legolas they both tumbled down a hill and landed at the bottom sprawled out. Legolas went to get up but Aragorn quickly rolled and ended up on top of Legolas.
They both froze their movement and just laid there for a minute Aragorn jumped up smiling. " Uh I believe that makes you it."
Legolas smiled still laying in his spot and slowly rose as Aragorn was scaling his way back up the hill. Legolas knew he could quickly catch up to Aragorn but decided to give him a head start and just stood watching him climb.

When Aragorn finally made it to the top and started running Legolas quickly scaled his way up making it in record time he could see Aragorn just a little ways up the path. Running full speed Legolas hit Aragorn on the back and ran past him laughing. "Your it mellonin." Aragorn was surprised and faltered in his steps for a second till he saw Angel hiding behind a bush giggling as Legolas speed past her.

Slowly Aragorn crept up behind his daughter and tagged her shoulder laughing as she went to hit his arm and missed. Angel ran after him for a few seconds but stopped crossing her arms. "Daddy, uncle Legolas I'm done playing I'm hungry."
Aragorn chuckled as he saw his daughter stomp her foot impatiently waiting for them to come to her rescue for food.
Walking over Aragorn saw Legolas come around the other side of the garden and kneel down in front of Angel. "Well let's get you something to eat little one."
The three walked into the castle and to the dinning area sitting down as the staff brought them out food. Aragorn looked across the table at Legolas seeing him starring at him.

"What is it Legolas?" Legolas looked at Aragorn and smiled "I was just thinking of when you told me I could fix the garden and the few words that transpired between us."
Aragorn remembered clearly that was when he called Legolas cute. He had said Legolas was cute when he got excited.
"Yes I remember" Aragorn's cheeks heated and he tried to hide it behind his hand.
Legolas took a bite of food and smiled. "Good" Aragorn looked up again trying to figure out what Legolas was thinking. Why did he bring it up???? Was there a bigger reason to???? Aragorn tried to think of everything they had said since Legolas got here and remembered Legolas saying how his father thought of him more as a daughter than a son what was that supposed to mean. Chewing slowly Aragorn glanced at Legolas everyonce in a while and would catch him looking back. Rolling everything around in his head of what he knew of Legolas's father Aragorn's eyes shot open. Could Legolas be gay.... Aragorn didn't care either way but  he also knew part of him cared for Legolas but he wasn't sure if he could care for Legolas in that way.
Aragorn sighed setting down his fork and looked over at Angel who had fallen asleep in her seat. Chuckling a bit Aragorn stood picking up his daughter. "I'm gonna go put her to sleep." Walking quickly Aragorn couldn't get the thought of Legolas out of his head sure a few times he has thought him and Legolas could be more than friends. Setting Angel down he covered her up and sighed again walking out of the room he jumped when he saw Legolas leaning against the wall outside the door.
"Aragorn are you okay?" Aragorn looked at Legolas and smiled nodding his head. "Yes I'm fine just a little tired from running around is all." Legolas gave him a calculating look and shook his head pushing off the wall. "No you look like something is bothering you... What is it I'm always here to listen" Aragorn stood walking over to the window that looked out over the gardens the same window him and Legolas had stood in front of all that time ago. "I was just thinking of the night you mentioned and trying to figure out why you brought it up." Legolas tilted his head and boosted himself up on the ledge of the window sitting starring at Aragorn. "I just was wondering what you meant when you said it to me. You just flat out said I was cute and got all weird about it afterwords."

Aragorn leaned against the side of the window and looked at Legolas. "I don't know what I meant by it just that when I saw you get excited it was cute that's all." Legolas nodded and turned to look out the window not saying anything.
Aragorn watched Legolas for a second and cleared his throat feeling his nerves kick in. "Did you want it to mean something?"

Legolas still looked out the window but Aragorn saw a ghost of a smile appear on his face. "Part of me did yes.... But another part didn't want to do anything that would destroy our friendship." Aragorn focussed on Legolas for a second, what exactly was Legolas saying. Straightening up a bit Aragorn took a few steps away from the window and saw Legolas look at him from the corner of his eye.
