Aragorn and Legolas both laid quietly for a few minutes just listening to each others breaths. Truthfully Aragorn couldnt fall asleep everytime he thought of closing his eyes he would instantly see Elrond's and Arwen's dead bodies. It has been a long time since he thought of Arwen's death but now it was all coming back to him quickly and he felt like he was breaking.
Legolas turned to look at Aragorn and saw several emotions cross his face and could feel a great amount of pain. "Let me help you relax" Legolas said softly helping Aragorn strip out of his shirt. "I dont think I can relax Legolas" Legolas just smiled and instructed Aragorn to lay down on his stomach on the bed. Legolas straddled Aragorn's waist and started to rub his back and shoulders. "Erm that feels good" Aragorn would make pleased noises every few minutes and Legolas smiled more everytime he did. Aragorn flipped so he was now facing Legolas. "Thank you, but I'm  still not quiet able to go to sleep."

Legolas sighed a bit and layed down so he was now still straddling Aragorn but now he was laying his torso against Aragorn's. "Do you want to talk about everything that is bothering you?" Aragorn sighed nodding his head to Legolas "I guess I can talk about it........Its just after I saw Elrond's body it instantly reminded me of Arwens death. Legolas frowned at Aragorn's words remembering how Aragorn acted after Arwen passed. Was he going to act the same way again? Giving a sad but warm smile Legolas put his hands to Aragorn's face. "I'm sorry that you are feeling this way again Aragorn, but... you need to put your sadness aside for now and those old terrible memories. Your men need you right now we seem to be going into war all over again. Everyone needs you to be strong at least till we make it back to Gondore."

Aragorn laid there listening to Legolas' words and frowned. Yes he knew Legolas was right that he needed to stay strong right now. Giving a small smile Aragorn grabbed Legolas by the waist and easily moved him beside him. "Let's try to get some rest now" Aragorn said softly as he turned to face Legolas. Legolas lay next to Aragorn and watched him closely. It wasn't long till exhaustion claimed Aragorn and he had fallen asleep. As time passed Legolas was almost asleep when he felt a shift on the bed and looked to see Aragorn moving in his sleep.

Soon Aragorn started to mumble and Legolas listened with a frown. Aragorn was having a nightmare by the sounds of it. Reaching out Legolas shook Aragorn a bit. "Aragorn wake up it's just a dream."
Aragorn shot up breathing heavily and looked around frantically. The dream still played over and over in his mind as tears started to stream down his face. Legolas reached out to Aragorn grabbing him by the face and frowned speaking softly. "Aragorn it was just a dream, look at me I'm here nothing is going to hurt you mellon."

Aragorn had sadness and fear in his face when he looked toward Legolas and was shaking a bit. "Mellon calm down" Aragorn tried to calm down but he couldnt the sight of his dead loved ones kept flashing threw his mind. "Here let's lay back down" Legolas said quietly helping Aragorn get comfortable again and then snuggled up against him. "So what did you dream of?" Aragorn couldnt answer right away and Legolas seemed to understand standing quiet and giving him time to speak. It seemed like hours had passed when Aragorn finally answered with a bit of a sob. "It was a nightmare, all I could see was the dead bodies of Arwen and Elrond over and over again in flashes. There was also the strong smell of  blood and a numbing coldness."

Legolas watched as more tears slipped down Aragorns face and reached up wiping them away. "Its alright it was all just a dream. I'm here" Aragorn let out a sob and grabbed Legolas hugging him tightly. "It was terrible, I want to go home" Legolas was surprised by Aragorn's words, earlier Aragorn wanted to continue to chase after the attackers now he was saying be wanted to go back home. "Aragorn we cant leave just yet we need to continue fighting just for a little longer."

Aragorn nodded slowly laying back down letting out a sigh. "I'm sick of war" Legolas understood and got comfortable again laying his head on Aragorn's chest and listening to his heart beat.
