Party I

There was a long moment of awkward silence in the drive.

"Well I think I made a good impression with you dad." Jake finally says breaking the silence.

I laugh.

"Lets hope you did or else I might never be able to speak to you again." I say laughing

"Yeah lets hope so." he turns and grins at me.

"Anyways..." I say turning away not wanting to look and fall for his smile, " where is this party anyway?"

"Oh its at Austin's lake house it's really huge." he says and looks at me unsurely when he said Austin's name.

"Cool..." I say and turn and face him then back at the window.

...

I turn on the radio and we are singing along. After a ride of singing and laughing about our singing we arrive at Austin's lake house, and just like Jake said it was "huge".

" Woah you won't kidding it is huge." I say as jump and shut the car door.

"Come on I can hear the music playing." he says and grabs my hand and we walk into the huge mansion like house.

The music is blasting from the backyard. People are making out, dancing, and drinking from cups. Great!

"do you want anything to drink?" a guy offers me a cup

"Ah..." Im cut off by Jake, "she's good." he says and leads me to the kitchen

"Don't get any cups that are offered..." this time I'm the one that cuts him off " Yes Jake I know I have been to parties like this... besides I don't drink." I say and grab a clean red cup and pour some water in it.

"Ok since you can handle yourself I'm going outside and look for the guys I will meet you there." He says heads out with his own cup in his hands.

I wonder what he is drinking. I didn't get to a chance to look.

I head outside and I can hear the music blasting. I look around and I find Jason the guy with black hair and the rest of the guys by the lake so I decide to go there maybe Jake has already found the guys and is over there. As I'm heading over there I spot Annabelle she sees me too and waves, I wave back and smile.

When I get to the side of the lake where I spotted the guys all around a campfire.

"Hey!" I say and wave

"Hey Riley!" they all say at the same time.

I take a seat next to Jason, " Hey have you seen Jake?" I ask him

"Hell yeah!" he says and points to the lake. I look at where he is pointing and I see Jake in the lake along with other people. I look around and notice that his jeans, shoes and shirt are in a pile set aside from the others.

"Riley come in the water!" Jake yells from across the lake.

"Hell no you're crazy!" I holler at him

Everyone laughs including me.

"Hey Riley." I jump and turn around to see a shirtless Austin wearing swim shorts. I think you can see me blush from the campfire light from the sight of his six pack and v-line because he starts laughing.

"Hey." I say coolly and turn back to the lake where I see a running Austin jumping into the water.

"WOOHOO!" he howls and all the guys start laughing even I start laughing.

Jake comes out soaking wet, "Riley come on get in." he says and waves at me to go with him. I stare at him his six almost eight pack and v-line are just so hot especially in his tan skin.

"Come on wipe that drool off your face and get in." he starts walking towards me.

"I'm not drooling and hell no im not getting in the lake in this." I say and gesturing to my cloths.

"Well then take it off!" Austin suggest/shouts from the lake. The guys start mumbling from his suggestion.

"You're crazy!" I holler at him.

"Come on Riley don't make me pick you up and throw you in there." Jake says walking towards me again.

"You wouldn't dare." I say taking my jacket off knowing that he will try.

"Lets be realistic Riles we both know that I will." he says with a smirk

"Yeah we don't do we..." I turn to Jason, "watch my stuff."

"But first you're going to have to catch me" I say and start running.
