The lady was furious, we were on the move, we left a handful of our army behind in that city, I had no right to question her commands, I was to only follow and serve, I hated it, a sudden voice rattled in my head "yekcim to my side, now!" The lady commanded I left my station watching another minion take my place, I shuffled through the hallway, and to the throne room, she sat there upon her throne, her face resting upon her fist, whilst fiddling with her medallion in the other hand, I felt the fear that surrounded her collide with my head like a train, it was instant, "y-you called upon me m'lady?" I asked bowing in her presence "yes...yekcim do you know why I called upon you?" She asked, her tail wrapping around the base of her legs "n-no I'm afraid I do not..." I answered I wanted to run, away from this dragon devil scum, away from this castle and those who reside within, and away from this horrid taint.....but I can't..... "I called upon you because the next biggest city is approaching, along with the water ashari, and I expect you have a plan?" She asked I took a breath "I have a plan...but I need some help..." I said looking to her, her wings unfurled, her eyes sharpened, I felt my heart slow as she stared at me with those piercing eyes, sweat started to bead down my face, "and what help would that be?" She asked "t-they are taking in commons, s-so I thought—" she laughed interrupting me, as she leaped from her throne landing in front of me, I stepped back "you thought I could change you and a few others back so you could infiltrate them and corrupt them?" She sneered grabbing my shoulder and pulling me close, she is terrifying, I took a shaky breath and nodded, her smile crept further up along her face, "I like it...." she let me go, turned back to her throne "round up a few others then come back to me and I shall do my best to disguise you my children" her wings smacked me in the face as she walked back to her throne, I turned away and shuffled down the hallway, out to the courtyard I saw some of the other tainted people just standing around, I walked towards them and they snapped to attention "commander..." the said I pointed at four of them "I need you four to come with me.." I commanded they nodded and followed me. We stood before her as she inspected us "now repeat to me again, what is your plan of attack?" She asked us "we go in disguise, looking like we're being attacked, then attack at night" I said "and if anything goes wrong?" "Infect anyone we can and die in your grace..." she cupped her hand on my face "good boy..." she said releasing me, and stepping back, she started to cast something, as I felt some of the taint on my physical form drain away, my eyesight was no longer purple and black, I was myself, but her influence in my mind was still strong, I looked to the four I had chosen they were normal too, "now get out of my sight, and start this plan" she snarled we all shrunk back and headed down the hall, I looked at myself in awe, 'I'm one step closer...' I hoped, I looked to the rest of them "who are you all?" I asked enjoying my old voice instead of that shriveled gasping voice like the tainted speak in, what I used to speak in, "I'm Levi" one of them said "I'm Daniel" "I'm Evan" "and I'm Matthew" (I know I'm evil get over it 😈)  I nodded "I'm Mickey..." I said feeling slightly more humane, we walked into the courtyard the other tainted seemed to snarl and growl in our presence 'no wonder we hate this form' I thought they looked envious of us, and who could blame them? I took a deep breath and exhaled loudly as I approached a large group the lady had readied for this plan, "you all know the plan?" I asked they all seemed to grumble but nodded "good wait for my signal then start the attack" I ordered they nodded moving out of the way of the entrance, I looked back to the four I'd chosen "well then, shall we?" I asked with a slight smile, they still seemed to fear me as they approached me, we stepped off onto one of the floating turfs of land, it started to slowly descend to the ground, I looked to the four, "you don't have to be scared of me you know?" I said Levi seemed irritated more then the others "stop acting so fucking nice" they growled "huh? What do you mean?" I asked confused Mathew sighed heavily "once we finish this attack, and go back to being tainted, you'll treat us just like she treats us" Mathew explained "what? No." I said "we all become something we hate when we're tainted, and your just our commander" Daniel muttered "look you might be nice now but it won't last is all we're saying" Evan explained putting a hand on my shoulder, I shoulder shrugged his hand off "no! I'm trying to make up for how I'm acting! I've tried to kill my best friend!" I shouted at them I felt power flare up in my eyes as I stared at them the world seemed to being to transition from colour back to black and purple I took a deep breath and exhaled loudly as the world went back to colour "look....I don't know how'll I act later but right now, let's just enjoy being even slightly back to normal" I suggested as the turf we were standing on landed, we hopped off, one by one minion after minion landed behind us 3 point landing style "you there" I said pointing to one of the minions he shuffled forward "attack us, make us look hurt" I ordered, the minions seemed to smile as they pounced at us, tearing our clothes, leaving gaping wounds across us, fear started to kick in, I began to book it towards the north, the four others followed behind, as did the hoard, we were running full sprint as we saw the ashari people ahead, two of the elemental guards turned and saw us coming they readied their weapons we cried our for help, but our pleas for help were drowned out by the, growling, shouting, horrible screams of the hoard behind us, the guards rushed forward towards us, almost in a panic, as a wave of water lifted us from our feet and pushed us towards the ashari, "go! Get inside the village! Now!" The guards warned, we didn't think twice, we rushed inside as we saw a massive wall of water surround the village, we heard the screams and cries of the tainted outside of the wall, I felt the adrenaline in my body start to fade, as the wounds started to pulse with pain I looked to the other four, it hurts, I fell to one knee as villagers started to approach "please, our gashes cry for help, will you help us please?" I pleaded "you were attacked? And managed to escape?" One of the villagers asked we nodded "your lucky to be who you still are with a hoard that large" another said, they helped us luckily to a vacant hut "rest here, the village leader will arrive soon" a young female advised "Okay, might I ask who are you?" I questioned sitting down holding the side of my wound she gave a warm smile "my name is Coral, I'm a dear friend to the chief, she'll be arriving soon" Coral said before leaving closing the door behind her, we all took a breath, "why'd you do that?" Levi asked "hm? Ask her name?" I asked "Yea...why?" Levi repeated I sighed "now we know who's close to her...and who to infect" I said I felt my sanity drop in a way as I said that, 'and who to infect', it sickened me, "can we not do that right now? Can we wait till our wounds are healed?" Evan suggested rolling his eyes I nodded in agreement "yes...let us heal then continue on..." I said taking a deep breath 'this is going to be hell' I thought with a deep sigh.

The afternoon was slow, we had seen the village leader and we were healed, it was approaching nightfall now, the other four were sitting in the hut waiting, I sat just outside the hut, watching the children play in the streets with fake swords and bows pretending to be great heroes, I saw a stray cat wonder close towards me, it crawled onto my lap and expected pats, I started to pat the cat, it started to purr loudly, I looked around no one was looking right now I lowered my head towards the neck of the cat, I clamped down on the cats neck with my teeth, I felt the cat bite my hand as I covered it's mouth, I felt the blood in my mouth, it was horrid, it was disgusting, it...it....it was fulfilling, I moved my face away from it's neck, I saw black and purple-y veins crawl down it's body as I let it run off, I wiped the blood from my mouth and continued to watch the children play like nothing happened. It was night, I stared at the sky "mick?" Levi asked I sighed "yea let's get to it, take out the leader and guards first" I ordered, I stood up and headed for the guard barracks most of them were sitting down eating a meal, none of them in their water elemental forms, I snuck inside and pressed myself against the wall, I heard someone approaching, step,step,step they turned the corner, I grabbed them covering their mouth and biting down onto their shoulder, they screamed into my hand, as they struggled against me, the same black and purple veins started to spread across his body as he changed, my vision started to shift back to the purple and black 'no...no,no,nononono!' I mentally pleaded as the taint swarmed my body once again, i looked down to the ashari guard, who was in the floor coughing trying to fight the taint, I smiled down at him, pathetic..., I kicked his side, he just laid there as the taint spread further, I peeked my head around the corner and saw two more people coming my way, I growled, this was getting rather annoying, I stepped out in front of them, I growled and they drew their weapons on me I leaped at one biting down on his arm, as his buddy stabbed me in the side, I walked in pain as I scratched him across the eyes, he recoiled in pain I took this chance I bit down onto his arm, the two guards before me fell to the floor as the veins started to appear in their bodies, I looked back and saw the first guard getting up, now this....this is going to be fun.....
