Screaming "I love you" in Ashley's bedroom brought back memories.

It brought back when I first told her I loved her.

She's always said I love you to me.

But it was in a friendly manner.

I wanted to say I love you as more than friends things.

We were still going strong in freshmen year.

We were in my basement watching The Corpse Bride.

We got to the part where the bride is letting Victor return to the human world.

"I love you, but you're not mine." She said.

I pulled her in closer to my chest.

"I love you." I said.

"I love you too." She smiled.

"I love you but not as friends. I love you in a romantic way. I love you as in how the bride feels about Victor." I explained to her.

She kissed me.

"I love you, Andrew Luis Ramos." She said.

Glad she feels the same way.

"And I love you, Ashley Josefina Martinez." I said kissing her.

Ever since that day, we changed the quoting.

"I love you, because you are mine." We would always say that to each other.

I miss it.

I don't think I'll ever move on.

There's no one else like her.
