HI! I'm watching Riverdale while writing this, I know, I'm late. The outfit on top is America's, just pretend the hair is red.

America's POV

My room was filled with a blinding light, well, more like sunlight, but it was far too early for this. My maids were walking around the room, Anne was setting out my clothes, Mary was starting a bath, and Lucy was waking up May.

"Lady America, you must get ready for the day, breakfast's in thirty minutes," Mary said as she pulled me out of bed.

"Nooo, I don't want to!" I complained loudly but begrudgingly followed Mary into the steam-filled bathroom.

"Well, you have to," Celeste appeared out of nowhere, wearing a simple red dress with her dark hair spilling in a waterfall of curls down her back. I groaned as I started getting ready for a shower. When I was done with the shower, my maids led me to get ready.

"Oh no, I am not a Selected anymore, I do not have to wear that," I said when I saw the dress. It was strapless, long and blue, with flowers adorning it, the heels were black, and the jewelry was all silver.

"Oh, yes you are," Celeste fired back, her tone was serious and scary, so I agreed. I put on the dress and shoes and sat down at the vanity so my maids could do my hair.

"You know this is too much, right?" I asked as Lucy brushed my long hair, it had grown.

"What? looking good?" Lucy replied back, a few strands of her blonde hair falling out if the tight bun on the top of her head.

"No, trying to win back Maxon, he's not gonna leave Kriss," I said this more to the whole room.

It was May who replied, "You never know, we have a week." I looked at May, her red hair was in a ponytail and she was wearing a simple lacey blue dress and flats.

"Yes, and Kriss has the rest of her life, we all know he's not gonna change his mind, especially because his father-" I cut myself off, I was not supposed to say that.

"What? What about King Clarkson?" Anne asked; she had stopped making the beds.

"It-it's nothing, don't worry about it," I stuttered, yet another reason I I wouldn't be able to be queen.

"Well, we don't have time to worry about it, breakfast's starting in four minutes and we need to go before the strawberry tarts are gone," Celeste told me as May and I were pulled out of the door by her. While on the way down, we bumped into Emmica and Anna, who were both  talking in a friendly manner

"America, Celeste, May, right?" Anna said as we approached.

"Yep!" May replied cheerily as we descended the steps.

"So, America, what's up? I didn't get to talk to you much yesterday. How are you doing? Find any suitors, or are you still grieving your loss?" Emmica asked.
