Shit.
I ran down the now empty hall way as my bones started ache, I could still hear the voice of my teacher yelling my name from the other side of the hall.
My head started to ring as I began to hear both my heart and my wolf's heart beat in a synchronized rhythm.
God damn that little fuc-
"Alexia!!"
Clar came out of one of the bathrooms wide eyed and curious,
"What the hell happened?"
I looked at her questioningly until I realized that every werewolf in the school probably heard Nevero and I scream at each other.
"Daniel Nevero thats what happened." I growled.
I could sense every muscle in Clar's body tense as my eyes shifted from green to dark yellow,
"I'm sorry Clar I can't hold it any longer, I'll call when I get home."
I sprinted down the halls in a blur, running ten times faster than an average human, two times faster than an average she-wolf.
I broke through the double doors out the back of the school and headed straight for the woods.
'I swear to god I will kill that little basta-'
'Alexia. Really, if you killed Daniel you would never be able to live with the guilt.'
My wolf clearly didn't understand how much it hurt when he accused my dad of doing something that horrible.
'Alexia, I understand more than you know.'
She always has to have the last word. I slowed to a stop as I took off my shoes, hey, they were nice shoes I wasn't about to rip them to shreds.
I closed my eyes and welcomed the familiar pain that lasted for less than a minute before I was on four legs again.
I shook my fur off and grabbed my red shoes in my mouth, I closed my eyes to gather my surroundings and figured it would take me all of 5 minutes to get to my hide out.
My hide out consists of exactly what some stereotypical hide outs consist of. A small wood shack stocked with everything I need, tucked in a clearing in the middle of the woods.
Just before I got to my clearing I heard a familiar truck pull to a stop off the dirt road 3 miles off to the west.
'Want to try something new?'
'It's not nice to taunt wolfy'
I laughed as I heard her growl.
'Just shut up and listen. Picture your fathers truck on the side of the road, listen to the sound of his footsteps as he makes his way into the woods, see him. Look at what he is wearing, smell his rustic cologne, hear his heart beat.'
My eyes were now closed and I could no longer here her in my head, I only heard my dads footsteps, the crunch of a branch as he stepped on it. I smelt his old spice cologne, heard his heartbeat increase as a squirrel crossed his path.
All of a sudden I saw him, it was blurry but I could see him as if I were watching him from up high in a tree. I gasped and lost all concentration.
"Holy shit."
'Well done Alexia! That was great!'
'Thanks...'
That was amazing, how could I do that, how was it even possible?
'I told you Alexia, we are Unique. Now do you finally believe me?'
"No, there has to be some kind of explanation besides that. I'm of ordinary blood! It's impossible."
'I wish he would just tell you.'
Wait tell me what? What do you mean!?
"Alexia!"
I snapped my head in my fathers direction as he came out of the tree line,
"Honey, are you all right?"
I yipped in response and went to the back of the shed to change.
What if Nevero was right? Could my dad, the one and only man who raised me to be the warrior that I am, not be my real father?
No. It can't be true. It won't be true.
* Hey guys, I know it's been a while but I have been really busy working all summer. Sorry its short but I will update before this weekend. ~B
