I walked down the stairs and flicked on the lights. It was 7:49 in the morning and I desperately needed coffee. Thats the one thing I didn't have.
A coffee maker.
I walked over to the desk and picked up my phone. I scrolled through the contacts till I found just the person I wanted to talk to.
"Hello?"
"Hey babe."
There was a slight pause on the other end and then a chuckle.
"Hey sexy, whatchya need."
I smiled and looked at my nails.
"Well it isn't exactly legal... So I don't know if you would be up to that kinda thing. I mean Carter babe, you might have to kill someone.."
"Honey tell me the time and place I will be there, I also need the money.. Cuz you know, killing someone is pricey these days."
"Mc Cree's Café outside of town, lets say 2 hours?"
"Sounds lovely my dear, and we can talk about price over some coffee."
"Haha thanks babe, your the best."
I hung up and laughed, Carter is my main guy. Whenever I needed help with something illegal or needed to find someone, Carter was the man for the job. I guess you can say I'm a somewhat regular customer of his.
I ran back up stairs to shower and get ready. As I hopped out of the shower I heard my phone ring and as I picked it up my heart stopped.
I teleported downstairs and plugged my phone into the computer, quickly making my line secure and tracing the call. I bit my lip as the location came up on the screen.
I closed my eyes and answered the phone, not saying a word.
"ALEXIA!?"
I sighed my wolf purring at the sound of his voice.
"Alexia, I know your there. I-I know you don't want to be found but I just need to know your ok. My pack is starting to worry that I am not fit to run our pack because all I am focused on is you.
Just tell me you're ok, at least just say something. I won't look for you anymore as long as I know your safe. You are my Mate and our packs future Luna, I trust you to come home to me safe, like you promised."
I had tears streaming down my face and I sniffled, wiping my cheeks with my hand.
"I'm ok.. I'm safe Jace. Take care of our pack."
I hung up as I heard him start to say something. I have to focus, I need to focus.
I walked back upstairs and sighed when I saw I had an hour to get ready.
I quickly dried and straightened my hair and put on some simple makeup.
I put on mascara and eyeshadow, finishing it up with eyeliner and a light shade of red lipstick.
I got dressed in dark denim skinny jeans and a maroon crop top, slipping on a black jacket and matching black heels.
I grabbed my purse as I went downstairs over to the desk. I quickly secured everything, and grabbing my hand gun out of the drawer I slipped it into my purse.
As I locked the doors and secured the hidden system I pulled my phone out to check the time.
Exactly 20 min to get to the café and arrive there right after Carter. I walked over to a group of trees and pulled of a camouflage cover, revealing my black Ducati. I pulled on my helmet and drove off trough the woods and onto the path that led out of town.
