The truth

'Just go talk to him.'

Why? What if he doesn't tell me the truth?

'He will, Alexia. Just go ask.'

I'm scared.

'I know, it will be alright. Eventually.'

As I walk out from behind the shed I feel like I could vomit.

I don't think I can do it.

'Yes you can. Just believe in yourself.'

Yeah well fuck you. I cant believe I'm doing this.

I walk out into the clearing to meet my father, he stands there looking at his phone so I smile and pounce on his back.

"Ahhhhh!"

He rolls as he falls, making me the source of impact as we hit the ground. He gets up and growls, his eyes turning black, when he sees me he frowns and his eyes change back to his chocolate brown.

"Alexia Marie, that was uncalled for"

I laughed but the smile on my face soon disappeared as I remembered what I was doing.

"Um dad, I have to ask you something, and I want the truth. No bullshít or half of the truth. I want all of it. And no matter what you say, I wont hate you forever."

"Lex..."

"Did you kidnap me?"

He paused, his eyes round and his heart beating fast. I knew what the answer was going to be.

But I never got one.

The wind shifted and I got a foul smell, my went wide.

"Dad!"

He turned around, but I was to late, a group of blood rouges already had us surrounded.

"Alexia, I love you no matter what understand?"

I nodded, my eyes filling with tears. The odds of him surviving were slim because he couldn't shift fast enough without being killed first.

"Show them whose boss baby girl."

My eyes shifted dark yellow as I gathered my energy from the earth and cleared my mind, ignoring all of the growls from the approaching blood rouges.

I felt every beating heart in the clearing as I shifted, letting me wolf have full control.

The rouges attacked but not fast enough for me, I charged, slamming into wolf after wolf, snapping their necks in seconds.

I froze as I heard a whimper and turned to see a rouge on top of my father, crushing his windpipe. I growl and the rouge backed off my father and advanced towards me.

He's an Alpha, but I'm a Unique.

We charged, claws against claws. I taunt him, dodge over dodge, taking his concentration and turning it into blood thirsty rage.

He lounges at me finally and pin him down, killing him in seconds.

I look around for my next target but realize that I had killed the all. I look over to my father just as he goes to stand up.

Just as I start to walk over to him he yells.

"Alexia no!!"

I freeze just as a rouge who had survived and shifted back takes out a gun.

I bark, my mind screaming his name.

I run to him not caring if I get shot or not. I reach him just as the gun goes off, but I'm to late. I shift not caring that I'm naked, and scream as I see blood coming from his chest.

"Dad!" I sob as I crouch next him.

He smiles weakly as tears fall from his eyes and hands me his coat.

"Alexia, I love you so much, I never men't to hurt you, I-"

"Daddy?" I sob as I clutch his body to my chest.

I curl up on the forest floor and cry. I feel nothing.

'Alexia, I know it hurts, but you need to get up, the rouge is still alive.'

I scream and a humming sensation ripples through my skin, I feel my bones crack and I know that I am shifting, but it lasts longer and I don't feel it.

When I stand up I'm on four legs, staring at the ground beneath me. I am stronger, taller, and absolutely furious.

I lift my head and stare at the human rouge, he's faced away from me and I growl, shaking the earth and making him turn around in panic.

His mouth drops open and I am in front of him in, grabbing his torso in my mouth and flinging him to the ground. He screams in pain as I hear bones break. I approach him slowly and put a single paw on his chest, covering it almost entirely.

"No! Please! Don't!"

I growled and killed him.

As I stared at him I could feel a nagging sensation in the back of my head growing stronger and stronger.

I whimpered as I fell to the ground in pain. I felt everything. The pain, the rage, the sorrow, the yearning. Everything at once. And soon everything went dark.
