Chapter 1

*Beep*

"Go die in a hole you stupid fucking alarm!"

*Beep*

*Beep*

I threw my alarm across the room and sat up straight in bed, "Oh shit! School!"

I jumped out of bed and ran to the bathroom, quickly undressing and getting into the shower. I got out and blow dried my hair, quickly curling it and applying a small amount of make up. I open the door and head over to my closet.

This year is my senior year and I'm tired of hiding who I really am behind jeans and a hoodie, a fake stereo type. This year I do what I want.

I dress in faded denim short shorts and a black crop top, showing off my belly piercing. I grab my bag off the floor and run down stairs.

As I go into the kitchen I grab an apple and my keys off the counter. My dad sits there with his coffee and watches me like I'm some kind of alien who took over his daughter and replaced her with something social and pretty.

"Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Like what?"

"You're giving me a look. It's creepy. And kinda scary."

I grabed a hoodie off the coat rack and walked towards the door.

"Alexia."

"What?"

He gave me a pointed look like I was stupid or something, 

"You need to wear shoes to school." 

"Oh, right. Bye dad!" 

"Have a good day, don't kill anyone!"

I laughed as I slipped my black converse on and headed outside towards my baby. My baby was my eighteenth birthday present from my dad, a red convertible camaro.

As I drove to school I could already tell that today was going to be awesome.

I pulled into the parking lot and luckily scored a spot in the third row closest to the school. My school is mostly werewolves but about one-fourth of the school is human. At school I don't have many friends, I'm the rogue who has permission to live on the land. My dad had moved here after his pack was destroyed by rivals and my mom was killed. He had gotten permission from the alpha of the territory to live and raise me here but turned down the alpha's offer of becoming part of the pack, saying that it would never feel the same. 

"Lex!"

I looked over to my small group of friends as Clara called me over. Our group consisted of Clara and her mate Brant, Savana, and Kelly. They are all part of the pack but chose to live outside the pack house.

"Hey guys!"

"Holy shit girl! What happened to Alexia and who replaced her with this sexy badass?!"

"Haha funny Clar. I decided that because it's my last year I wanted to show off my true self and not the self-conscious rogue that every one in this school believes me to be."

"You go girl, you look awesome by the way. I'm loving the belly pierce."

"Thanks!"

"Ooo Clar she's in a good mood today too!" Kelly laughed.

"Finally hit pueberty Cohern?" Brant snickerd but his smirk quickly disappeared when Clara kicked him in the shin.

"Ow! What was that for!?"

"For being a jackass." Clara glared at her mate.

We all laughed as Brant mumbled a sorry and looked at the ground, clearly accepting defeat.

The bell rang and we all started towards the school. I jumped when Savana grabed my arm and began squealing.

"Oh my god he's so hot!!" 

I looked over and sighed, she was oogaling the future alpha, Jace Collins.

I mean sure he was extremely attractive, but still, he was a major grade A ass whole. He had a new girl hanging on his arm every week and he was the most popular guy in school. His stereo type was your typical ass whole jock, which he played perfectly.

 "Savana I don't see why you drool over him, he's just going to use you for sex and move on for some skank."

"I know, but I haven't found my mate yet so it doesn't hurt to stare. Plus I wouldn't mind him  swipeing my v-card." She wiggled her eyebrows and we all burst out laughing as we turned out seperate ways to get to first period. 

I looked at my schedule and saw that I had history first, I internally groaned when I saw that it was Mrs. Dreckler. She hated my guts after I put her nephew in the hospital when he kept slapping my ass in the hallways. I had really bad anger management problems last year but have improved alot over the summer. 

I sat down in the second to last row and bent over to get my phone from my backpack. Someone whistled and I snapped my head up to see Justin Nevero, the furure beta.

"Hey hot stuff, what's your name?"

A look of shock passed over his face as I turned around and smiled, 

"Fuck off Nevero."

"Damn, Alexia Cohern. Who knew she was so sexy under those baggy hoodies." He snickered to his friends and I just shook my head as the teacher walked in. 

"Mr. Nevero, if you are going to chitter chatter with your little possy of jocks all year than you can go straight to the principle and fail this class for remaining of the time that you are in this school."

I held in a laugh as he shut up and glared at her, Drecker 1 - Nevero 0.

 This year is going to be awesome.
