Alexia POV
I smiled to myself as I stood back and admired my work. The giant underground room was now cleaned and polished. I replaced all of the electrical things and installed new light fixtures as well as an air conditioning system.
Towards the far side of the room was a brand new advanced computer system and a 70' flatscreen mounted on the wall. There were stairs to the right leading up to the upstairs which had two bedrooms, a mini kitchen, and a bathroom.
On the right wall I had updated the weapons and the passcode system, adding a retinal scan as well. On the left side of the room I had all of my workout equipment along with a salmon ladder, gymnastic rings, and an uneven parallel bar set.
I climbed up the stairs and admired my room a little more. I had brought over my platform bed and the furniture from my room including all of my clothes and several boxes of my fathers things.
I decided to sell our house, I no longer wanted to stay in a place that only brought me pain. Before my father died we were set for life when it concerned money.
We were rich but we lived only off what we needed, not what we wanted. Now that he is dead it all belongs to me, and I am determined to put a good chunk of it towards my revenge.
I quickly changed into shorts and a compression tank top and went downstairs. I plugged my Iphone into the wall mount and put on Fall out Boys. I smiled as music filled the large room, I had a surround sound system installed so I could listen to music while I worked out and not have to deal with headphones.
I walked over to the salmon ladder and took a deep breath as I jumped up and pulled the bar into the first rung. I went up four more rungs before I jumped down. I walked over to the giant floor mat in the middle of the room and did 80 sit ups, 60 push ups, and 90 crunches.
Finally I walked over to the punching bags, I built up all of my pent up emotions and punched the bag till my hands bled and the bag fell to the floor.
By now I was sweating and ready to be done for the day.
'Oh no you don't. We need to run, and not in wolf form.'
Fúck.
I unplugged my Iphone and slid it into my arm band, putting my headphones in.
I shut off the light as I walked up the stairs leading to outside. As I closed the cellar doors I slid open the panel that was concealed by a fake rock. Yeah cheesy I know but it works. I punched in the passcode and was satisfies when I heard the doors deadbolt.
I took several new security measures, after what happened with those rouges I don't want anyone finding out my secret, or finding me.
I take off through the woods, running in the opposite direction of town.
I don't want to take the chance of running into him, I can't handle anymore pain right now.
'So go to him! He can take away our pain! He can make us happy again!'
Uhg shut up!
I block her out and run, nothing can get in my way, not even Jace. He is a weakness, and if I lose the one person who can make me happy again...
I no longer have a reason to live.
