Chapter 1.

All Kimberley Eun wanted was to get a record from downtown, she didn't think she'd end up in a Serpent's turf. Her father was the new transfer police officer at Riverdale's PD. They had come from Emerald City, not from the Wizard of Oz however. It was a big patch of land in Greendale. A Texan girl at heart, living in a city full of young millionaires and socialites. She had thankfully escaped the land of the rich.

"Hey dad, mind if I go to explore?"

Evan Eun looked at his daughter hesitatingly and nodded lightly, watching her rush to her bike to unchain it.

"You better be home by six Kim!"

"Chill dad!" He looked at her skeptically. "I just wanna get a record from downtown"

A common fact to note about Kim Eun was that she very much enjoyed collecting records: mainly older bands. Maybe it was the fact that she could use the old vinyl record player or just as collection purposes, she didn't know.

It had taken her longer than she thought to get to the shop, it was practically at the edge of Riverdale. She locked up her bike and ran into the shop. She checked the time on her watch 13:56. She had tons of time to get home.

After an hour of trying to find the right records, a small bell went off as a figure stepped into the small shop. He was tall with a fitting leather jacket and greasy black hair.

"God, what do I choose?" Kim sighed as she looked at the two records: There is a light that never goes out or This Charming Man, both by the Smiths.

"Really? The Smiths?" a deep voice said behind her, it was the boy with the greasy black hair.

"What about it sweetheart?" she shrugged lightly and looked up to him. He chuckled a bit, kicking his feet around causally.

"Aren't you easy to read?" He smirked, his teeth showing.

"Why, what do you enjoy?"

"I'm a Nirvana fan. Y'know, entertainers?" He started humming the the song under his breath, drumming his hands on his jeans.

"Of course. I like come as you are?"

"Of course you do."

"Asshole" she muttered under her breath

"What did you say? Watch your mouth kid."
