"That was so good Joe," Reid says handing him his plate. "I told you I can cook." We all smile as Joe clears the table. "I'll be right back with your checks."

"I really needed this skip day," I say taking out some cash to pay. "Right, we don't do shit on Friday anyway." I nod at Coco. "Since it's gameday, that means long ass pep rallies," Nova says taking some money out her purse.

When Joe brings back the checks, we quickly pay and get ready to leave. We each put in money for our usual $100 tip. We waved bye to Joe before walking out the dinner.

"So, the game tonight?" I was thinking about that all through the night. "Nah, I don't think I'm going to go, but you guys have fun." All of my friends let out gloomy sighs. "Come on Lia, you seriously want to stay home on a Friday night."

"Surprisingly Reid, I really want to, and I'll be fine." "Fine, but if there's a party tonight, we are coming to get you," Nova says giving me a hug before walking to Reid's car. "We'll see!" I yell, and she turns around and shoots me the bird. I immediately start laughing because with Nova, her flipping me off is so adorable.

"But text me how the game is going," I say giving Reid and Coco a quick hug. "We will babe and thanks for the vodka last night," Coco says kissing my cheek. I wave as they walk towards Reid's car. He decided to drop them off because he passes their houses on the way home.

I blow them a kiss goodbye before turning around to walk towards my car. I ended up parking far away from the dinner because Stone's was surprisingly busy this morning. I take out the keys to my Range Rover and unlock the car.

As I get closer, I notice a black Range Rover parked next to my white one. My mouth grows dry as I see Tyler leaning against my car. He gives me a small smile when he notices me walking.

I texted Tyler last night and told him where I was going this morning. However, I did not expect him to show up. "Hey," he says moving from my car when I finally reach him. "Hey." I'm trying to remain calm, but I feel like my body is drenching with sweat.

"Tyler, I didn't want you to skip class, so we could talk." I lean over to put my hair in a ponytail hoping it will cool my body off. "It's not really skipping if the coach knows." His smug smile sends shivers down my body, which cool me off.

"So, want to talk in your car or mine?" "We can talk in yours," I say locking my car back. Tyler opens his passenger door and I climb inside. He walks over to his side and swiftly gets in. When he starts the car, he turns up the air and I silently praise him in my mind.

"Can I have some?" I point towards a bottle of water in the cupholder. "Of course," he says reaching to turn down the radio. I grab the bottle and take a long sip. I screw the top back on and turn my whole body to face Tyler.

"First, I'm sorry I dipped on the party last night." Tyler takes a sip from the same bottle of water before turning to look at me. "Yeah, what was that about?"

Well, Bryce and I kissed in the bathroom, but I pushed him off.

"I had girl problems." Tyler brings his fingers up to his chin and I can tell he is thinking. "Earlier in my bedroom, I can assure you did not." Damn. I forgot about that. "It happens without warning sometimes," I say with a slight smile. "Aww, ok," he says smiling at me.

Honestly, how are you going to argue with a girl about her time of the month?

"Ok, so I texted you to talk about us." Tyler places his hands on his lip and his face has turned serious. "Yeah," he says leaning closer to me. "I'm starting to have these strong feelings for you and it's scaring me."
