4 weeks later
"So, have you and Tyler made it official yet?" Nova asks as she tightens the straps on the back of my dress. "Ughh, not yet," I say holding my stomach in.
"What the hell is taking him so long? You guys have literally spent time together every day." Reid comes out of the bathroom with his face slayed to the gods. I shrug my shoulders and reach down to grab my shoes.
I have been thinking the same thing. We are still in this unofficial relationship and its getting exhausting. After our conversation a while ago, we have gone on numerous dates. We spend the night at each other's houses and I've even made a habit out of going to dinner with his family on Wednesdays.
However, one thing I've noticed one thing about Tyler that has changed. He absolutely hates me hanging out with Bryce. Bryce and I only hang out alone during our tutoring sessions, in which Tyler is always texting me throughout.
"Maybe we should talk to him," Coco says cracking her knuckles. "I'm good, thanks though." Reid and Nova softly chuckle at Coco's actions. I go walk into the bathroom to do my hair and makeup.
"How long did your mom stay this time?" Nova yells from my bedroom. "Surprisingly, two full weeks which is longer than usual," I say curling my hair. "Is that why you traveled in between our houses weeks ago?"
"Yes!" I yell at Reid's question while running my hands through my curls to create soft waves. "Well, my house is free anytime babe," Reid says, and my friends say the same thing. I run out the bathroom quickly to give them a hug and then run back inside.
I quickly beat my face before walking out the bathroom flipping the light switch. "Ready," I say grabbing my black purse. I double check to make sure I have my phone, wallet, keys, and portable charger.
"This party is going to be so awesome," Nova says standing up from my bed. "Well, let's not keep the people waiting," Coco says opening my bedroom door. I check myself in the mirror one more time.
I'm wearing all black. My see-through dress is covered with black straps. The soft waves in my hair add the perfect touches to the overall look. I'm also wearing my go-to black heels.
"You look bad as fuck. Let's go," Reid says pulling my arm to follow our friends down the stairs. I run into the kitchen and scribble down a note for Cayden. We all jump in my Range Rover after locking up the house.
"Let's go crazy tonight!" Nova yells leaning forward to turn up my stereo as I start the journey to Nicki's house.

Nicki's house was completely packed. I notice people from our school, but also some I don't recognize. This is my first time coming to one of her parties. She only throws these parties if our football team wins four games in a row. Luckily, we won our fifth last night.
