I reach over and turn off my alarm clock. Okay, its 7 am and I must be at school by 8:30. I jump out of bed and quickly take a shower.

Not wanting to waste water, I go ahead and brush my teeth in the shower.

I lotion up and put on the clothes I laid out last night. White crop top, light colored jeans, and checkerboard vans.

I look at myself in the mirror and begin my pep talk.

"Cahila, you are about to embark on your last first day of high school. You and your friends are about to do some damage. You will use your newly found courage and knowledge to maybe make some new friends, but mostly enemies. Now let's go fuck some shit up."

And with that, I grab my backpack and walk downstairs for some breakfast.

I see my brother pouring us both a bowl of cereal and he hands me mine. I nod thanks and we begin to eat.

"You look very simple today," Cayden mumbles with his mouth full. "Yeah, the last thing I'm focused on today is how I look," I respond finishing my food. He arches his eyebrow at me to continue. "Instead, I'm more focused on whose lives I'm going to make hell today," I say smiling at him.

He walks over to my chair and rubs his hand in my hair. "You just wake up with jokes don't you," Cayden says laughing at me. I simply laugh back and shrug my shoulders.

He thought I was playing, but I was dead ass serious.

"So you know I go back to college in a few weeks, but I don't want to leave you here alone." That's my brother, always being protective.

"I know, but I'll be fine," I say smiling at him. "I have been left here before and nothing crazy happened."

Cayden let's out an aggravated sigh and says, "I hate when mom does this shit, Lia." I simply nod in agreeance.

I wouldn't say I have a mom. I would say Michelle loaned me her body because after I was born she simply disappeared. She is constantly traveling and manages to see me once a month. Even though I slightly despise her, I do appreciate her sending me $5,000 dollars a month.

Between me and you, I just let the shit pile up in my private account.

"Cayden, it is what it is," I pause, "we can't change it, so might as well live with it."

*HONK, HONK, HONK*

"Ok I've got to go, but we'll talk when I get back," I pick up my backpack and give my brother a hug.

As I'm walking to the door, I hear Cayden yell, "have a great day Lia and I love you." I yell back, "I love you too", and walk out the front door locking, it behind me.

This would be a great day. Probably the best day of my life.

I had a few open wounds that needed to be dealt with.

Be careful when you light a match next to someone who has been burnt before. Cahlia and her friends have a few tricks up their sleeves for a few Preston Academy seniors. I wonder who will be shown the trick first. Will it be Sabrina? Or maybe Nikki. Nah, Rodrick committed the worst acts. I guess we will have to just wait and see.
