Sky's POV

I wake up to a dark, huge room. A few lights are on, but immediately I feel panicked. I see a silhouette in the doorway, Smiling at me. "Morning sleepyhead.' He says, lazily. Uriah. "Uria- where are we?' I ask, rubbing my eyes. "My place. Dia came by with some clothes." I smile, and get up from the bed. Suddenly the memories rush back from last night- I grasp major pieces- Like A fist hitting my head, Dia's face hovering over me, Uriah scooping me up. "Did I get knocked out by a large   person's fist?' I ask, with a laugh following it. He nods. "Jeez, you need to avoid fists!' He says, smiling. I walk to him, and wrap my arms around his neck. Then I press my lips to him, and after dance away, taking my clothes to his bathroom and getting dressed. She picked out my training clothes for the day- knowing I'll ignore the pain, and keep fighting. The week's almost over, anyways. I truly hope it does not involve me getting beaten by fists. The training outfit is a pair of leggings, a tank top cut above my belly button, a leather jacket, and a shiny new pair of combat boots. I put my hair up in a ponytail, line my eyes, and am ready to head out when Uriah softly says, "Wait." I nod, and follow him out the door, and down a long corridor until I see two chairs next to each other. He sits in one, and I take the other, extending the chair which is like the one at the dentist's. He brings out a syringe, and fills it  up with a green liquid. "okay, we are g-going into my fear landscape. You need to be ready, Okay? Just put this into your vein, okay?" I nod, and shoot it into my neck, and the next thing I remember before tumbling into a cold room is Uriah shivering, and shooting himself with the serum. I see Uriah shaking, beside me, and sit next to him, as I watch a girl look afraid, and knit my eyebrows. Uriah is taking deep breaths. "it's alright... It's okay." I say, as I wrap my arms around him, his body shaking. What happens? Why is he so bothered. I see something in front of her- a boy a couple years older. it all becomes a blur, as A person with a gun comes out from behind shadows, And fires at the boy... But the girl pushes him away, and takes a spray of bullets... In her chest. Suddenly I see who it is, the girl. The girl is me. and the boy... the boy is Uriah. Uriah screams, and I calm him down enough to transition into the next terror. This one he throws his body in front of mine, and I know right there... He would face his fears for me- which amazes me. I smile, even in this dark alley.

Uriah's POV

I know this is the fear I hate most. I close my eyes, and walk to the table, and eyes closed, tell sky, "I've got to do this alone." I grab the gun from the table, and looking away, shoot my mom, dad, and Zeke. But the worst part... Their cries of help.. begging, begging me not to shoot them. I shiver, and we are zapped back into the present. Sky looks pretty shaken up, and runs, and  hugs me. "thanks." I say, breathlessly. "Only two fears?" She asks. "I used to have three... But I guess  it went away after you came." The fear was of Marlene. Sky changed my fear landscape. oh god. We head off to her training. Tobias called in "Sick", so I have to fill in. She bounces over to the knife station, and hurls a dozen at the target. When one doesn't make it, a girl laughs. She's dead. Sky flies toward the girl with blonde hair, worn in ringlets. "Sky!" I call, and she ignores me. She punches the girl's nose , and I hear a sickening snap. "Stop." I say, and she gets off her, narrowing her eyes at the girl. Hold on... Sky looks like something personal had happened between the two. "Sky.. Come here." I say, and take us into a secluded corner of the room. "Did you know her?' She nods, scowling. "candor. She made fun of all my friends, calling it the truth. well the truth is she's a- " I cover her mouth, and shake my head. She's crazy. She'll get herself killed someday. but I've already signed up for bodyguard.
