I let Uriah lead me out of the dining hall, and down a hallway. From there, the takes my hand, and sprints down a secluded hall, and hurls his body through a door, and I tumble behind him, falling in complete, utter darkness until I hit a net, my body, and Uriah's body lurching upwards, and bouncing in synch. He let out a victory whoop, and started doing flips, and Throwing me up in the air. At first it was terrifying, bit eventually it felt natural. That about summed up my experience being dauntless in a sentence. And divergent... But more struggle was to come with that as the initiate training continued. We finally grew tired, and sat on the edge of the net, my feet dangling, as it was around a 6 foot drop. He slung his arm around me. "Hey can I ask you a question?" I ask. "Sure. Hit me!" He exclaims. He may have had a bit to drink... "Well what's  beyond us?" He looks pained. "Um... not great things. Scientists. We started out as an experiment. After things got sorted out we ditched the faction system, we went back to it a couple weeks later." He frowns. "And now the erudites have access to all the divergent files. Except you. I hacked the system." I smile at him, and kiss him suddenly. " i love you." I whisper. He says, "I love you too.", But I hear faint gunshots. "The hell?" He says, and looks up. "Move!!" He screams, and pushes me away from the net, scrambling after me. "They're shooting from above. Erudite! There must be spies!" I start to sob as I run. He whispers, "im divergent, and I survived a war, fought through a coma! You can do this, Sky." And then keeps whispering that he loves me as we run. I hear the gunshots getting closer, and cry harder. "No!" He screams, and before I know it I see a bullet entering my chest, and everything goes black.
