I hear sobs, and uriah saying my name. Tobias too. What just went on? I am forced to shut my eyes again because I simply cant keep them open. Ugh what is wrong with me. I also feel ice cold, and i can't move at all. The whole world seems to be spinning, and i hear everyone's voices muffled. what...? extremely loud, buzzing machines coome near me, along with the scent of amber. Something tickles my face, probably hair, and a woman's voice screams at people, telling them to leave the room. A sharp pain spikes up my arm, and i feel even farther away from life. everything goes black. Then I wake up again, and hear relieved sighs, which the pain multiplies. It feels like there are 50 rods sticking into my right arm. i fight to stay awake, but I black out soon after. And then I wake up again, with the same thing happening to the other arm. I feel a cold metal ring around my mouth, which helps me think straight. Everything is less foggy, but the pain in my chest returns. I hear Uriah crying, and praying in the corner, along with Dia, Cam, and my other friends. I don't know where i am, or why i'm here, all I know is something is wrong- really wrong. And I can't open my eyes. i lie there for hours as they try to revive me, poke and prod me, and finally, something works... my lungs fill with air, and I open my eyes, taking in two gasps of air, and then choking. I look around, to see a black room, and myself wearing a beautiful dress, which is a dark shade of purple. I struggle to breathe, and see a bunch of IVs plugged into my arm, I put my hand to my forehead, and furrow my brows, honestly so confused. My brows furrow together, and i feel pain spike up my chest again. The doctor yells, "uriah!" He whips around, and runs to me, hugging me tightly, which cuts off my breathing. I try to push him away. the doc screams at him though, so its all good. "Sky! You were dead!" He exclaims. what? 'Died on the table three tim-" "Uriah. Please let her rest.' I close my eyes quickly, and doze off. A few hours later, I am in Uriah's apartment, no oxygen. "Hi?' Iask, as I see Uriah hunched over a laptop. He spins around, and rushes to me. "Sky!' tears run down my face. "she you were dead. Erudite shot you..." He says, voice shaking. "I know." I whisper. "They said you had to live under supervision now... so you can stay here with me.' He says, cracking a smile. "Oohh how long it take you to convince them?' he smirks, and says, "a couple minutes", and looks down. I see all my clothes have been moved here, but not my bed. "Uh are we... sharing a bed then?" He blushes feverishly, and says, "Uh- yeah if thgat's okay?" I nod, And hug him, but shrink back because my chest hurts so much. " Is it okay if I see it?" he asks, and I nod, unbuttoning the top Dia must have dressed me in. there is a scar that hits right next to my heart, but a longer, gaping scar from where the surgery was. 'Ow." I say, and he says, "Yerp." Then I kiss him, and smile through it, happy to be alive. bBut then my smile disappears, and I pull away. "Uh yeah what did I miss in training?' He shrugs. "not much. Everyone finally finished those little tests which BTW you finished in 15 seconds." My mouth drops open. "no way!" He nods. and finally i fall into a deep sleep dreaming of uriah, and being a soldier in dauntless. Until the sirens wake us up. And Uriah shhakes me awake, looking scared out of his wits. "Sky... Its happening!" "What?" I ask. "We need to leave... now. Get up, get dressed, pack... I have to take you somewhwere... safe."
