Chapter one: Welcome to the neighborhood
Ever since the summer before second grade, when the Sartorius' moved in, Aurora has always had a crush on their son, Jacob.
It was the summer of 2010 when the Sartorius' moved in their new home, across the street from the Andersons. There was Adam Anderson, and Ashley Anderson. They had a daughter, Aurora. Aurora wanted to be kind as she saw the men go to the moving truck while the women went inside the house.
"Hello." Young Aurora spoke before entering the truck. Mr. Sartorius smiled at the little girl. "Hi. Who are you?" "I'm Aurora Anderson. Would you like some help?" Little Aurora replied as she reached for a box.
Mr. Sartorius quickly shook his head and stopped her,"Oh no. Hey does your parents know you're here?" Aurora nodded her head. Mr. Sartorius didn't want to hurt her feelings, as she seemed as though a kind little girl.
"How about you go home and tomorrow if we need help, you can help?" She nodded her head and jumped out. She landed directly on her feet and smiled in victory that she didn't fall on her face or butt. "Hey Jacob why don't you go help your mother?" Mr. Sartorius told him, directly winking at him. Jacob nodded his head, catching on,"okay dad." Jacob hoped that with his help, that would send Aurora home quicker. But Aurora wanted to play with Jacob before he went in, so she chased after him after he got out of the moving truck.
When she finally caught up to him, she grabbed his arm to turn him around and their hands touched. They were holding hands and staring into each others eyes. Aurora noticed how his eyes were hazel. And she thought that she was going to get her first kiss.
But then his mother came out. "I see you've met my son Jacob." Aurora nodded her head. Jacob quickly snatched his hand away and ran to his mom, only to hide behind her. His cheeks turned pink, more pink than they already were with his condition. "Aurora it's time for dinner. Come in." Ashley Anderson yelled from the door. Aurora waved bye and ran back across the street after looking for any cars.
After both families had their dinner, the young ones were sent off to bed. Jacob immediately fell asleep, since he was exhausted from moving things and being a little embarrassed. Whereas unknowingly love stricken Aurora stayed awake thinking of all his features.
