Aurora Anderson has always had a crush Jacob Sartorius since he moved in, the summer before second grade. And he disliked it. During the summer before 9th grade, she realizes it and changes all together. He grows curious and doesn't realize the emot...
When Aurora arrived home, she walked past her parents and went to her room. She pulled out her phone and texted her aunt Irene. She asked her aunt could she give her a makeover. Her aunt responded with an 'of course'.
Aurora grew happy and she thought about the words her father had told her back when she was 6th grade. "Make sure to find the tiny details. They matter the most." She never really understood what he meant. She just thought he was talking about painting as he is a painter. But now she realized what he meant.
Sure Jacob has hazel eyes and pink cheeks but she didn't know him much. And after today she realized that Jacob didn't know her just like she didn't know him. She happily packed a bag and waited for her aunt to come pick her up. "Rora." She heard her little brother call for her. This caused her to smile.
"Come here Eli." Aurora called out. He pushed her door open and stumbled in. Even though he was about to turn 3, he couldn't walk all to well.
She got off her bed and walked over to pick him up. She carried him back to her bed and sat down. The thing about her leaving was that, she's the only one. She knew her baby brother would be sad but she felt as though she would have a good outcome out of this.
After waiting for 4 hours, her aunt pulled up and she grabbed her bags. Her auntie helped her get her bags in the trunk. Elijah then started throwing fit as he was still to young to properly know was going on and where his sister was going. She picked him up and started shushing him. She rocked him to sleep after getting him to calm down and then gave him a kiss on the cheek. She laid him in his bed and walked back out to her parents.
She gave both of them a kiss on the cheek and got in her aunt's car. She buckled up,"hey auntie, is it okay if I play my type of music?" Her aunt laughed but nodded her head. She giggled and then grabbed the aux cord and plugged it in her phone. She went on Spotify and played her favorite songs with a huge smile on her face.
What she didn't know was that as soon as Elijah started throwing his fit, Jacob looked out his window curious to see what was going on.
There he saw someone he didn't recognize, Aurora's parents, her baby brother, and Aurora herself. He grew curious about where she was going and how come she wasn't wearing clothes like she wore to school. He then watched every little move she did.
Over the whole summer, he wondered where she was. Why wasn't she back yet? He didn't want to admit it, but he missed her being annoying.
While he wondered where she was and what happened, Aurora was getting herself a make over. With the help of her aunt Irene, she had a newly rebuilt confidence and gotten over Jacob.
Well atleast that's what she made herself believe. She couldn't wait to see Mia in person again, and tell her about everything that had also happened.
