Aurora Anderson has always had a crush Jacob Sartorius since he moved in, the summer before second grade. And he disliked it. During the summer before 9th grade, she realizes it and changes all together. He grows curious and doesn't realize the emot...
Over the weeks, Aurora started on fixing the yard. She never really noticed how it was very horrible looking. So with all her money she earned from her chickens eggs, she bought all the tools needed. One Saturday, Jacob's grandfather, Rolf decided to help her.
"Hello." He called out, gaining her attention as he was walking across the street. She was attempting to properly cut the bushes around the windows. She turned around just as he reached their yard and smiled,"Hi." "I'm Rolf, Jacob's grandpa." He introduced himself, smiling back. "I'm Aurora." She introduced herself back. "I know. You were in the newspaper for a tree. Oh you remind me so much of my Lilia." He spoke, smiling even wider as he was remembering his wife. "Huh?" Aurora questioned, confused.
"My wife, Lilia. She was strong like you. I came to help if you don't mind." He informed her. She shook her head,"Oh no you really don't have too." "And you're kind hearted just like she was." Aurora decided he could help, but she kept a close eye on him to make sure he didn't hurt himself. Jacob rode by on his skateboard but stopped when he saw his grandpa over there working. He shook his head, upset that he never got that much attention from his grandpa and continued on his way.

Over the weeks, Rolf and Aurora got to know each other better and he taught her everything he knows about keeping a yard nice and clean. "Thank you for all your help." Aurora thanked Rolf for the 100th time.
He shook his head,"Nonsense it was nothing. My daughter Patty would like to invite your family over for dinner." Aurora nodded her head and Elijah called out for her. It was her job to watch him so of course she excused her self to check on him.
After she helped Elijah use the bathroom she went back out and saw Rolf went home. She shook her head with a smile. She went back in and got Elijah in a decent outfit. She then got her self dressed up. She heard her mom's car pull up and then her mom rush in. While her mom was at work, she texted her about the dinner invite. She also texted her dad so she wasn't surprised when her dad did the same thing.
Her mother had stopped at a bakery for a pie as she knew she didn't have the time to bake one. Aurora grabbed Elijah's hand along with her phone and they walked to the living room where the parents where. "You ready to go sweetheart?" Ashley asked her daughter. Aurora nodded her head and they started over towards the Sartorius'.

Meanwhile that went on, Jacob was sighing deeply and trying to find something to impress Aurora but not to much impress her. He had finally realized he had a crush on her.
The doorbell rang through out the house and Jacob quickly put on his shirt and slipped on the shoes over his socks. He walked downstairs and was taken back by how pretty Aurora looked without even trying. When Aurora looked up, she didn't want to admit it, but Jacob sure did look hot with what he was wearing.
Snapping herself out of her glance at him, Aurora smiles brightly at Mr. and Mrs. Sartorius. "Why don't you show Aurora your room Jacob?" Patty suggests, hoping that they will both realize they had huge feelings for each other. Nodding his head, Jacob walks upstairs and Aurora follows behind silently. They get in his room and he sits on his bed. Aurora stands at his door frame, examining his room. It wasn't like the average teen boys room. It was actually clean.
"Come in and have a seat. I don't bite more of just all bark!" Jacob's voice breaks her out of her thoughts and she walks in. She sits beside him on his bed. "Look, Aurora I'm sorry about the eggs and insulting your yard." Aurora shakes her head,"It's okay. Really that caused me to make it look nice, with your grandpa's help of course." He nodded his head.
"Listen Aurora, I've got something I've wanted to tell you that I just realized fo-"
