Aurora Anderson has always had a crush Jacob Sartorius since he moved in, the summer before second grade. And he disliked it. During the summer before 9th grade, she realizes it and changes all together. He grows curious and doesn't realize the emot...
The next morning Aurora woke up and did her usual routine. When she arrived at school, she met up with Mia and together they walked past Jacob who was with Mark, not even sparring at glance at them. Jacob pondered why she wasn't talking to him. Well other than when she had to deliver the eggs to his house and he had answer the door. But what she didn't know was that he through them out.
;
Weeks passed and finally one morning Aurora discovered that he threw them out. "Really Jacob? What's the reason for that?" She cried out. "It's just my dad thinks they have salmonella because of your family's chicken poop filled yard." She felt tears come to her eyes. "Really because Mrs.Lee and Mrs.Kelly buy them! Gosh!" She snatched the eggs from him and walked back to her house.
She put them back in the fridge and walked to her brothers room. "Hey Eli." She greeted and Elijah smiled at her. She picked him up and walked back to her room with him. "Eli, promise me you won't try to break a girls heart!" Little Elijah agreed, not even knowing what his sister meant.
After spending time with Elijah, they were called for dinner. She sat him down and they walked to the dinning room together.
While eating dinner, Aurora decided to ask an important question to her parents. "Mom, dad, can I start working on the yard?" Adam Anderson laughed until he saw she was serious. "Well if you have the money. Because I use some of mine to help Leon." Aurora had an uncle who was born with the umbilical cord wrapped around his throat. They didn't cut it in time. He survived but was what most people called special ed.
Aurora knew of her uncle but never remembered meeting him. "Oh please. Why did you even put him in Roseward anyways?" Her parents started arguing and to save little Elijah, she quickly got him up and gave him a bath. Her parents was still arguing by the time he went to dozing off. She finally walked back out there.
"Can you please stop arguing? Look I'll do the yard by myself, but please stop!" She cut her parents off and they agreed. That night when giving her a goodnight kiss, even though she was 14 now, they both apologized. "Honey I'm sorry. If I can find the time, I'll help." Her father told her. "Sweetie, I'm sorry, and your my best little miracle." Her mother said to her.
After her parents walked out, she went to sleep, with the thought of what Jacob had said to her.
