CHAPTER EIGHTEEN
A few weeks had past since the incident with William and Arden was feeling herself again.
She stood talking to her friends by her locker when Liam approached, he looked over at the group. "Hey guys," he made eye contact with one of them and blushed slightly, "Hi Maya."
Arden grinned when she noticed.
"I'll catch up with you guys later," she said and grabbed her brothers arm rushing away. Once they were far enough away Arden stopped and grinned at him again.
"You have a crush on Maya Park."
Liam blushed again but didn't say anything.
"It's cute and should be celebrated, let's go."
Liam followed his sister until they were at the door of the school.
"Im not cutting class."
"Liam, you're fifteen before you know it we'll be old and overworked and you'll regret not having fun."
The boy really hated the fact that Arden was that convincing. So he reluctantly followed her out of the school grounds and dashing down the street.
"You know this is probably illegal in some states!" Liam shouted.
"Relax!"
For most of the day the two sat talking in the park and goofing off in thrift stores and finally decided get something to eat at a nearby coffee shop.
Liam sat happily eating a large cupcake when the door opened and all color drained from his face.
"What's wrong?" Arden looked in the direction Liam was. Sure enough Olivia and her whole squad stood giving their order at the counter.
"Shit." The twins whispered in unison.
"We have to go."
"Liam if we walk to the door they'll see us for sure. We should try to hide in plain sight."
As they were bickering Olivia walked up to the table, she stood with her hands on her hips and a frown on her face waiting for their excuse.
"Hi mom." The twins grimaced.
