Chapter 6: Kidnapped

"Na-Naruto-kun, I want to tell you that..." she held her breath and clutched her chest. "That I've always been here for you since the very start. If it meant to protect you I am not afraid to die. Whatever you chooses I will always be there for you. But more importantly," she looked up at Sasuke's eyes with her's seeing the image of Naruto"More importantly, I want you to be happy. Where you're happy is where I'm happy. Even..." she took a deep breath and clenched her fist. "Even if it is with Shion. Because.... because... I, love you, Naruto-kun! I will not wish for anymore than what you're happy with. Naruto-kun, you chose Shion because she completes you and I know Shion will love you with all her heart, and because of that, I'm glad. Be happy, Naruto-kun."

Sasuke stood there frozen as he had never seen Hinata this fragile. He wanted to comfort her but he was too proud of himself to let down his wall. It made him more infuriated on the fact that he would never comfort Hinata enough like how Naruto would. He hated the fact that she's looking at him with such longing eyes that is for Naruto. Aside from that, he was amazed to see what her true heart spoke off. He expected for Hinata to say Something selfish like asking Naruto to choose her. He expected for her to reason why she's better than Shion. He didn't expect Hinata to be selfless even with the one thing her heart desired for a long time.

"Hinata"

His head snapped at the familiar voice that was standing a far back behind Hinata.

Hinata gasped upon hearing a familiar voice called out to her. She looked over her shoulder and saw another Naruto standing behind her. She don't know why but th Naruto behind her has different effect on her. Her heart started to beat faster and her face heated up even more. She looked away from the Naruto behind her and gazed up at the person she thought was Naruto. Her eyes widened when the person in front of her started to look like Sasuke. Being intoxicated with alcohol and the shock that the situation brought made Hinata faint into Sasuke's arms.

Sasuke lifted her up and carried her by his arms. He turned around to leave when Naruto called out to him.

"Sasuke" Naruto called out. "What am I supposed to do?"

"What do you think is the right and true thing to do?" Sasuke uttered before leaving.

Sasuke decided to bring Hinata back to his apartment. He laid her down on his bed and put the duvet over her. He caught a glance on her face and before he knew it he was staring at her for a while. He hated how Hinata makes him feel but he does not want her to go away. He wants her to stay by his side all the time. When he's with her he's at peace. She's one of the reason he can see the world in a much more brighter place. Her hopeful and untainted eyes assures him that.

He came back to his senses and shook his head. She's just too kind and fragile that is why he wants her to be by his side. . She is too weak to protect herself. He thought to himself. He lifted his head up away from Hinata's and stood up. He went outside his balcony to get some air. He took the orange cloth out from his cloak and ended up clutching it really hard.

Hinata woke up in an unfamiliar place. She abruptly got on her feet causing her to get dizzy. She held her head for support. She looked around the spacious room and saw a paper laying on a a coffee table in front of a TV. She went picked it up and read the message that was written on it.

'Training, 7 am sharp'

Hinata gasped and turn to the clock to see what time it was. The time read 2pm and her eyes widened. She's more than worried about what time it was than who's place she was in and how did she end up there. She quickly ran towards the door and put on her slippers and got out of the door. As she was now outside the room she realized she's in Sasuke's apartment. Vague memories of last night came flashing back to her. He strength drained out quickly remembering those that she told Sasuke which was heard by Naruto. She hoped it was a dream. She shook her head and got herself together.
