Sasuke's attention was diverted to the round crate that is floating down from the air. It shows that it's Toneri who is riding it. Sasuke stepped in front of Hinata in intention of protecting her but suddenly something pierced his back making his body fell limp and he fainted.
Hinata catch the falling Sasuke with her arms and whispered, "I'm sorry, Sasuke-kun"
She took off the cloak Sasuke borrowed to her and put it on top of him. She looked up at the person floating up on the sky. She took a deep sigh and press her eyes close. She stood up and walk towards Toneri and step on to the crate Toneri was standing on. Toneri's arm was wide open ready to receive Hinata by his arms. As soon as Hinata stepped into the floating crate, he held Hinata's head and pulled her closer to him. Hinata clenched her hands tightly as she felt Toneri's chest pressed against her.
They float up to the sky to another floating island inside a big yellow transparent ball. Inside it was a big palace. The huge crate stopped in front of the palace's door. Toneri was the one to get off offering his hand to Hinata on which Hinata ignored by stepping out of the crate by herself. Out from Hinata's peripheral's vision, she saw Toneri clenched his the hand that was offered with a grimace look on his face. She sighed feeling a little guilty for what she did.
"Hinata-sama welcome" a woman wearing a white kimono with white straight hair going down to her feet spoke from behind Hinata making Hinata take a step backwards as she turn around.
"Take her to her room." Toneri ordered.
"No, I want to see Hanabi" Hinata demanded.
"You will see her after you are rested" Toneri answered with a firm voice.
The woman gestured her hands telling Hinata to follow her. With a sigh and a slightly slouched back, Hinata followed the woman up to the fourth floor of the palace. They walked down the hall towards the only door on that floor. The woman opened the door for Hinata revealing a spacious room inside it with a big queen sized bed in the middle. The room was dark and the only light that is illuminating the room was the five candle that are spread out across the room evenly. She sat down on the bed making it screech a little revealing the age of the furniture.
"I will give you something for dinner. You must be famished." The woman said as she left Hinata inside the room locking the door behind her.
Hinata scorn hearing the lock click. She looked around the room feeling more depressed seeing the yellow illumination from the candles. She got up from being seated on the bed and onto the big curtains up against the wall. She opened one of the heavy curtains to let some natural light in only to realize everything around this place was artificial. The light from the outside was just as depressing as it is in the inside.
The door creaked open revealing the woman bringing a tray of food on her hands. She put it down on the coffee table.
"The light is not as marvelous as it is down in your planet" The woman commented. "Though we don't have what is called night here"
"You have been to Earth?" Hinata asked curiously as she turn around to face the woman. "I'm sorry, what's your name?"
"My name is Hakeni; and yes I have, countless of times."
"Why?"
"Toneri's father used to send me down to earth to study your lives and keep an eye. The place the sage of six path built was indeed breath taking. It is a shame it is bound to be destroyed." Hakeni said shaking her head.
"Then help me," Hinata said as she walk closer to Hakeni. "Help me stop Toneri from destroying the earth"
Hakemi chuckled, "child, believing something is beautiful does not excuse it from the atrocities it has done. I am loyal to Toneri-sama. I only act by his wishes." she gestured to the food laying on the coffee table . "Eat, it's getting cold" she set on her way and left locking the room behind her.
