Chapter 7: Genjutsu

Hey wazzup 😅. Let's just say, The updates will be once a week or once every two weeks. I'm not smart and emotionally strong to juggle school and making story at the same time. Every scenes I make are truly from the heart (though I know they are all written in a grade school manner 😅.) I study everything and put myself through my story so please bare with me. I love you guys.

(It's christmas break! That means I have a lot more time to make the story!) :)

"Your mission, is to rescue the kidnapped Hyuga Hanabi." Kakashi said talking to the five people in front of him. Standing in an order from his left is Sai, Sakura, Shikamaru, Sasuke and Hinata. Inside the room together with them standing on the side were Shion, Naruto, Neji, Tenten and Ino. Tenten is carrying one of their child while Ino was carrying the other. "Shikamaru you'll be leading this four man team. I am also granting Hinata's request on joining the mission"

"Thank—"

"What?!" Neji exclaimed. "Hinata-sama, I should be the one to go-"

"Neji-neesan, I want to go. Hanabi is my sister-"

"She's also my cousin. I failed to protect her, now I want to help get her back."

"Things has changed. You don't have to protect us the main family. Father died proving that. You wanted things to change in our clan. This is the first step. Besides, someone needs you right now more than us." Hinata glanced at the two little delicate babies on Ino and Tenten's arms. She grasped onto his right arm and looked into his eyes. "Let me go"

"Hinata-sama" Neji let out a sigh and left the Hokage's office.

"Neji-kun!" Tenten called out. She handed the baby she was holding to Sai before running off to Neji. Sai was caught off guard and held the baby awkwardly by his hands. Sai and Ino shared a glance making both of them blush.

Kakashi cleared his throat to bring the attention back to him. "Shikamaru, put your hand out" Shikamaru did just what Kakashi told him. The white haired girl standing near Kakashi waved a sign. A clocklike figure appeared on Shikamaru's left hand.

"What's this?" Shikamaru asked.

"A top secret clock. Only the five kage possesses it" Kakashi said rasing his hand up to showthe clock on his left hand.

"What does it keep track of?" Sasuke asked.

"It's counting the time before the Earth's destruction." Kakashi stated.

"Wait, what does this have to do with Hanabi's disappearance?" Shikamaru asked.

"Toneri kidnapped Hanabi. We think he might be the one who's manipulating the moon" Kakashi gave Hinata a knowing gaze which Hinata avoided by looking the other way.

"Kakashi-sensei, why am I excluded in this mission?" Naruto whined.

"Only the two of us can protect this village. It is only right for one of us to stay behind while the other one is gone" Sasuke said bluntly.

"But—" Naruto objected.

"Naruto" Sasuke called in a stern voice"now more than ever you need to think of who you value more in this world. You have someone important you want to protect, so does I."

"Protect? You, Sasuke? Who?" Naruto asked while scratching his head. Suddenly out of nowhere, Naruto received a punch from Sakura which sent him flying across the room.
