Chapter 8: White Lion Priestess

Sorry! I know I said after two days. But here me out, I got into a motorcycle accident on sunday so my head was kind of hazy and I cracked the screen of my phone thanks to that 😂. Also, I decided to make this chapter first and upload it before I make the second half of the last chapter which I talked about on the last chapter. So that's why it took me four more days ✌🏻.

Heavy breathing can be heard coming from Hinata as she fall to the ground exhausted. She can feel her hand painfully vibrating from the lightning that has been running through her hands the whole day. Combining her lion fist with her lightning chakra was harder than she thought. The memory of Naruto doing the same thing on the past gave her motivation to stand up and try again. She curled her fist tightly that she can feel the electricity piercing on her skin like needles.

"This is nothing, Hinata" she told herself before she got on her feet.

She held both her fist on her side and focused the chakra on both of them. As soon as she saw that it turned into a lion fist she added the lightning chakra into it. The chirping of the electricity running around the lion fist can be heard. She gripped her hand tighter as she feel her chakra to get bigger on both her fists.

Her eyes widened when she saw the the lions fists to grow bigger with the lightning chakra wrapping around and combining perfectly with the twin lion fist. She punched the tree close to her with her twin lightning lion fist the blow affected the seven other trees surrounding the tree making them break in half. The lightning wrapped around the tree causing it to explode and become pulverized.

Her eyes sparkled seeing the effect of the new jutsu she created. She held her palm up on the sky to catch the ash from the tree she destroyed and brought the the black ash on her palm close for her to see. She held a smile on her face as she gaze onto the little black spot on her palm. She felt someone stood behind her which she already know is Sasuke. She turn around still holding a smile on her face.

"That would be it for today" Sasuke uttered before flickering away.

The smile on Hinata's face vanished. She wanted To hear Sasuke to tell her she was doing a good job or anything close to that. Except he kept looking at her with blank expression and he always expect more from her. She know she should not complain as she's the one who asked for this favor. For a person like Sasuke, her skills are not comparable or something to be awed about.

She left the secret training ground where Sasuke and her were training. Sasuke wanted the news of him training her to be left hidden from everyone. She agreed to it since she did not also want people bombarding her with questions. She was just about to get inside the Hyuga household when she heard Kiba called out to her. She looked over to her left and saw Kiba, Akamaru and Shino walking towards her. Akamaru put both his paws on Hinata's shoulder and licked her face. She lightly push Akamaru off her and pet his head.

"Kunichiwa, Kiba-kun, Shino-kun" Hinata said with her attention still on Akamaru.

"Eh," Kiba slightly tilted his face, "your clothes are all worn"

"Huh? Eh..." her face flushed in nervousness.

"Hinata is training hard, why? Becau—" Shino was cut off by Kiba.

"Oy, is this really necessary just for Naruto?" Kiba asked in an annoyed voice.

"Uh... this is not about about Naruto-kun, Kiba-kun, Shino-kun" Hinata said waving both her hands dismissively.

"Then what is it for?" Kiba asked nonchalantly.

"Huh? Eh... for uh.. me!" She quickly ran inside the Hyuga household slamming the door behind her. She can hear her heart raising out of nervousness.
