I'm so sorry, I know it has been more than a month. I have no excuse but that, I didn't like my idea for the next chapter. But now I do. I'm so sorry 😭😭. Thank you for reading!
"Wait, Sasuke-kun." Hinata called out making stopping Sasuke at his phase. "I'm sorry. I did what I thought was best. I'm—" suddenly two arms wrapped around her.
"Idiot," Sasuke uttered as he tightened his hug around her. He never thought how scared he was to lose Hinata until she was back at his side. He realized how relieved he was to see her beside him, he felt the urge to wrap himself around her. Though he was also scared about how much he cares for her.
Hinata stood there frozen. She didn't know what she is supposed to do. She felt Sasuke's arms got tighter around her feeling his warmth even more. She felt her heart beats faster with every second. Her mind went blank. She raises her hands slowly but put it back to her side. She wanted to wrap her arms around him as well, but something is holding her back. She did not want to know how real it is that she feels for him. She needs to hold back.
Sasuke let Hinata off his hug. He turned his back from Hinata as he cleared his throat. "This is the last time I'd ever let you off my sight"
Hinata felt her face heated up from that statement. She nodded, "I'm sorry"
"Tsk" Sasuke held Hinata's left hand as both of them dived into the spring. They stayed that way feeling each other's warmth through their hands. They eventually catched up with the others. As soon as Hinata spot Sakura, her hands immediately wriggled off Sasuke's grip. She felt Sasuke glanced at her but she persisted on ignoring him.
"We should hurry up or the portal will close" Shikamaru informed. He the lead the way and was then followed by everyone back to earth safely.
They all each rode on a bird back to Konoha. Hinata took a huge sigh of relief seeing how the village was still in a great shape. They all landed on the rooftop of the Hokage's building. Their waiting was Kakashi, Naruto, Neji, Ino and Shion.
"Sasuke! Sakura! Hinata! Shikamaru! Sai! Hanabi! Oy! Welcome back!" Naruto greeted excitedly as he's waving his hand vigorously. He walked up to Sasuke and elbowed him playfully. "Eh, Sasuke, you're now a hero."
"Shut up!" Sasuke spat as he glared at Naruto. They both whipped their heads towards the person who just let out a gentle laugh. There was Hinata covering her laughter by the back of her hand.
Naruto tilted his head seeing Hinata in a gown and makeup. "You look so pretty, Hinata-chan" Naruto uttered carelessly as he put his elbow rested on Sasuke's shoulder.
Hinata was taken aback by Naruto's compliment. She didn't expect for him to compliment her. "Thank you, Naruto-kun" she said with a smile.
Sasuke then suddenly walked away from the conversation causing Naruto to almost stumble to the floor. He managed to balance on his own but was then received a smack from Sakura.
"You should not call other woman pretty in front of your fiancé, don't you know that, Naruto?" Sakura scolded.
"Sakura-chan" Naruto whined as he rubbed the back of his head.
Hinata looked at Shion who then looked at her. They both nodded to each other and received a smile from one another.
Neji approached Hinata with a look of relief from his face. "I'm sorry for doubting you"
"No, thank you... for everything." Hinata put a hand on Neji's shoulder. "Now, you don't have to feel like you have to serve us"
Approaching behind Kakashi were three people who have pale white skin, long straight hair, and bright blue eyes. Their ears are a little pointy than normal people. The person in the middle scanned everyone and had his eyes lingered on Hinata. Everyone stood on guard while Naruto then bursted into five kagebunshin as he tries to attack them. Naruto hit the three of them with his fist that made them disappeared.
