Chapter 6

When I finish cleaning. I eat some dinner and go on the couch and end up falling asleep. When I wake up it's 5 in the morning. Wow. I slept through the night. I go upstairs and take a shower. Once I'm out I get dressed and brush my hair and put it up in a braid. I look at the clock and it's only 7 o'clock. Trains don't leave until 8 so I'll go check the schedule for today at 8. I decide to do some laundry. When I'm folding my last load of clothes I come across a shirt of Peeta's. My eyes get watery but I tell myself to suck it up and that he's coming home today.

I look at the clock and see that it's 8:23. I want to go to the train station to see when Peeta's train will arrive. I decide to tell Haymitch where I'm going in case he gets worried, or wants to know when Peeta will return also.

"Haymitch. It's me." I say walking into his house.

"Hey." He says. He's sitting at his kitchen table drinking coffee and reading the newspaper.

"I just wanted to let you know I'm going to the train station to see when Peeta's train is coming back. If you want I can tell you when I get back." I say to him.

"Sure, that'd be great. Be careful." He says.

"Okay. Bye." I say closing the door behind me.

I walk to the train station. When I get there I see the schedule on the board. Since it's a Sunday there is only one train coming from the Capitol today and it says it's departure is at 8:30 and it's arrival is at 2:00. That's a long ride. I decide to go home and just lay around until Peeta gets back. I choose not to greet him at the train station. I thought that if maybe he had an episode or something, it would be kinda awkward for everyone else at the station. So I decide to stay home and meet him outside if Victors Village. Right now it's only 9 o'clock so I take a short little nap because I barely got enough sleep last night.

Hey guys! After this chapter there will only be one more. I said in the beginning it will be a short one. But anyway I just wanted to let you his know that I'm currently writing another fanfic for this account. It's going to be about Katniss and Peeta growing back together after the rebellion. It's probably gonna be pretty long. 30 chapters maybe? Idk yet but it'll be more of a long term story than this one. All this happened in less than a week lol. But I hope you guys likes this story!!!
