The Princess awoke to the sound of metal thrashing against each other. It sounded near. She grumpily turned away from the sound, throwing a pillow on top of her head. It didn't help. She heard muffled yelling, but since it was far, she couldn't hear it clearly. Yet the sound of crashing metal was so clear. She got up, grabbing her wool blanket.

She dragged the blanket as she dragged her legs closer and closer to the noise. Now she could hear them better. She stood before Phichit and Viktor. They fought on the wide circle of stoned flooring, surrounded by a variety of flowers. She stood on the left stoned path that lead to her house. The sky was cloudy and the sky illuminated the crescent moon. Yuuri watched in plain sight as Phichit and Viktor fought.

" You aren't worth the love that Princess Yuuri might give you!" cried Phichit, thrusting his sword toward Viktor's neck.

"You're just a knight! You can't even marry someone with royal blood!" Viktor yelled angrily, "You have to marry a peasant!"

"W..Who said I was I in love? My duty is to protect the Princess with honor..! Even if I could, Yuuri would deserve someone better than the both of us!"

Yuuri drowsily watched as they yelled at each other and came to each other with their swords.

"G..Get out of the way! I shall speak to Yuuri at once and mention about her lovey-dovey little Knight in Shining Armor! You're just a knight who luckily got the chance to protect Princess Yuuri!"

"You're just lucky that you're a King now! You'd never fucking understand how people like me are! You are a damn King and I am a knight! You'd never understand how horrible your family can because of financial problems or how lonely it can be!"

Suddenly something caught her eyes. Viktor was so angry. His eyes flashed angrily and Yuuri saw someone she's never seen before. A king who lost all of his self-control. Viktor slashed the sword away from Phichit's hand.

"You talk nonsense, you know?"

Phichit fell to the ground. Yuuri ran. Viktor raised his sword.

"You think you're the saddest, oh pitiest, creature on Earth?"

No one noticed Yuuri. Viktor's eyes widened with malice. Phichit shut his eyes.

"YOU'RE JUST A KNIGHT! YOU WOULD NEVER UNDERSTAND THE STUGGLE!!"

And his sword came down. Aiming directly at Phichit's stomach. But instead Yuuri was struck. Right in the stomach.

They're anger flushed to shock. Cold sweat began forming on their face. As they stammered to call out for the Princess, she merely let out a pained sigh, tears pouring out of her eyes like a waterfall. Blood poured out from the deep wound on her stomach.

"..Stop fighting... I'm sick of it..."

"Princess, why would you do this!? You... didn't need to jump in front of me!" Phichit screamed, "I'm your knight! I'm the one who's supposed to protect you!"

"You're... not at fault here..I am." she was shivering.

Viktor's eyes were shaking. He dropped his sword, that was covered with Yuuri's royal blood. Now that he stabbed Yuuri, he would be feared by her Kingdom and his own. Yuuri would hate him for causing her so much pain. Viktor would be known as a traitor to the Japanese Kingdom. War will break out. All because of his stupid mistake.

'P...Princess...."

"..Don't worry... Father... already knows...."

"What do you mean!? Your Father will kill me! Why did you put yourself in such a deathly situation!? You can't die!" Viktor cried.

The Princess gave out a weak laugh, but then coughing afterwards. She clutched onto Phichit's sleeve. She didn't want this. But she just ran. Her legs just worked on its own. And there was this voice right before it all happened. A male voice.

'Stop them, Princess. Run. You have to save them.'

Now she had this light feeling in her chest, following with the deathly pain.

"Mother... will understand... if you tell... the truth."

"Princess..! Your life is more valuable than ours! Why did you--" Phichit was cut off.

"I can't die... and I'll be... fine."

"Princess... you fool! What nonsense are you talking about?!"

"...Shut up.. I'll live."

And with that, she stopped. She stopped moving; speaking; breathing. Viktor and Phichit panicked. They rushed to the King's room. The woke the Queen and King.

Phichit carried the princess, the wound bleeding onto his outfit. Viktor was so angry and upset that he had just stabbed the woman he loved. It hurt him too much. Viktor had to explain to the Queen and King that he had wished to speak to Yuuri, but Phichit had told him that Yuuri was sleeping and was not to be disturbed, which Viktor had thought to be a lie. Thus, leading into a meaningless fight with Yuuri suddenly ending it.

"...You two... really, I never thought you'd be like this. Yuuri always seemed to enjoy having both of you around her. Oh... why did this happen...?" Hiroko muttered, tears streaming down her tears. Toshiya comforted her, wiping away her tears. Then turned to Phichit and Viktor.

"...Hand my daughter to me."

The king gave his order. Phichit handed the princess to her father with no hesitation. His face was stern, his brown eyes fierce instead of his pleasant soft eyes. It was concerning.

"I must go to the Witch. He... was aware of this, as well as she."

"Shall I prepare a horse for you, my King?" Phichit asked.

"Prepare a horse for three. And prepare for a nutrition break as well. It... will be a long trip. First... we must patch Yuuri up. My Queen, shall we visit Yuuko?"

Hiroko nodded, her face still stained with tears. It pained her to see her daughter all bloodied and so peaceful. Never had she wanted Yuuri to kiss her goodnight like how she had so many years ago. But Yuuri had grown.

"Please excuse us."
