I woke up, still laying on the deck off the Hood's house. I sat up, looking at Calum, Jeremy, Luke, Michael, and a boy who I was surprised to see: Ashton. My heart actually fluttered as I looked at his green eyes that still looked darker than they should.

"Calum, fucking stop!" Ashton yelled.

Calum was staring at my chest, his jaw set in concentration. "You four need to make a decision now. She's either coming back or not. You've got a couple minutes at most."

Why the hell was he staring at my chest? "Calum!" I yelled at him, but he didn't even flinch. "Calum?"

It was like I wasn't even there. Was I there? I looked around until I noticed a body lying on the wooden porch. She had ivory skin and dark hair. Her face was round and had a thin layer of dirt over it, as well as blood that had come from her mouth that was starting to dry. It was me.

"Oh my God." I breathed. I was trapped somewhere between Calum bringing me back and going to wherever I was actually supposed to go. As of now, I was invisible to everyone.

"Listen to me!" Jeremy was shouting, trying to block Ashton out of view to no avail. He was shorter than Ashton by a few inches. "I'm her brother!"

"Seriously, Ashton, we need her back." Luke agreed with Jeremy. Were they seriously fighting over if they were going to bring me back or not? Was that even a question? Of course they were! How could Ashton do this? I thought he loved me.

"I'm not going to be selfish about this!" Ashton burst. "I understand you all love Bridgette and want her back, but this is literally the most selfish thing you could do! You're tying her to this world forever."

Honestly, when I thought about it that way, Ashton had a point. But at the same time, I didn't want to die. I wouldn't see Mikey or Calum or Jeremy or Ashton ever again. I wouldn't see my parents or any of my relatives. Even though I'd just be stuck at eighteen for the rest of eternity, I didn't want to leave now.

"Make up your minds!" Calum groaned. "I can't keep her here forever. She's slipping away."

Slipping away? I looked down and saw my hands were fading; I was fading. My soul was slipping away until Calum wouldn't be able to do anything about it. How long had they even been out here doing this?

"Complete it, Hood!" Michael demanded.

"Don't-"

"Ashton, listen to me," my brother pleaded, turning and placing his hands on his shoulder's, "I know Bridgette and she wouldn't want to leave you guys. She'd want to be here with us -- all of us. That includes you."

"She stops you from going insane, anyway." Michael added.

"Guys." Calum chimed in impatiently.

I was almost completely gone by this point. I didn't know what they were going to decide and I was too scared to know what it would be. So I just laid back down and waited for something to happen.
