My first night at my new house was honestly kind of scary. I couldn't get the thought that people had died inside the house I was now living in. It was just creepy. I walked downstairs and found myself walking towards Ashton before someone grabbed my wrist and pulled my back. I looked and saw it was Luke, shaking his head slowly. As tears formed in my eyes, I said with a broken voice, "I'm kind of scared..."

Luke brought me back to me room and let me cry until I fell asleep. It wasn't just about me being scared anymore, it was that I felt lonely now. Usually Ashton was there to cuddle with me and stay in my room until I was asleep. Now I felt like I was alone. I was lucky to have Luke there for me.

I woke up in the middle of the night, though, and Luke was gone. Mikey was sitting over in the corner by himself. I sat up and squinted at him in the dimness, the moonlight streaming through my windows to help me see.

"Luke asked me to watch you while he went downstairs to help Calum with something," he explained. "I think it has to do with trying to get the old Ashton back, but I'm not sure. His sister's coming over so I'm almost positive."

"Sister?" I asked in a raspy voice. Calum barely mentioned his sister. Only a couple times had he ever said anything about her.

"Yeah. She's more experienced or something than he is so he needs her help," he shrugged, not actually sure if what he was saying was correct. "She's nice, I promise. Something similar happened to her too."

"Really?" I asked, sitting crisscross on the bed as I listened to Michael talk. "How? What happened?"

"I don't know, something about her practicing a spell on him and using the wrong one," he began, standing up and walking over to sit next to me on my bed. "He forgot about her and moved away because he thought she was crazy."

"Shit," I breathed. "I feel terrible for her."

"She's okay now," he shrugged, "just don't bring it up."

"So...what is she going to do?"

"Try to find a spell to get his memory back. At least just the part of his memory where you were."

"And if we can't?"

Michael sighed, gently pushing me back down, "Just go to sleep, Cooper."

I looked at him. "Why did you start calling me that in the first place?"

He shrugged. "Sounds better than Bridgette. It stuck, didn't it?"

"Wow, thanks."

"Anytime, Cooper. Anytime."

Calum's sister was called Mali-Koa and was a gorgeous dark-haired girl that looked so similar to her brother. She had a black fedora placed on her head when I walked downstairs to meet her. She looked up with red lips and smiled, shaking my hand and introducing herself.

"I'm sorry about what happened," she said with a sad expression. "I know how it feels."

"It's okay," I shrugged, although it wasn't okay, "I just hope this works."

"Just please try not to get your hopes up."

"Trust me, I'm not."

Ashton entered the house, sunglasses on his face. I tried not to look at him but it was difficult. I ended up squeezing passed him and hiding out in the kitchen until they decided they needed me. Luke was in there, looking through the fridge. For some odd reason, I could see it was filled with food even though he couldn't eat. Maybe they went grocery shopping for me.

"Hey." I said quietly.

He straightened and turned, seeing it was me. A smile spread across his features, "Hey. How'd you sleep? Sorry for ditching you in the middle of the night."
