"how are you and Jack?" Wyatt asked as they ate their pizza. They all agreed to go eat but Sophia was with Millie so she had to tag along. Finn and Millie weren't as close anymore since the day he told her he isn't into her like that.
"good! we are talking about who should go where for thanksgiving" Finn said. It got quiet and Jaeden can feel the awkwardness build up.
"Sophia how about you? you dating anyone?" Chosen asked and she sighed.
"no don't wanna waste my life on a guy" Sophia said and they all nodded understanding. "but Millie is talking to someone right!"
"um yeah i am but i don't think its gonna go anywhere" Millie said shrugging.
"why?" Finn asked. the group looked at Finn confused since this was his first time talking to her since forever.
"don't feel like he is good for me" she replied. "but lets change the subject."
"Finn have you told them the news?" Jaeden said.
"oh right! well Jack doesn't know yet guys so please don't tell him since i am planning to tell him later today but i agreed to take over my dads business when he passes away!" Finn said and they all cheer.
"how do you think Jack will react?" Sophia asked and Finn shrugged.
"hopefully he is okay with it.." Finn said. "but i'm afraid he will freak out and be dramatic about it. i don't want our life to change because of a decision i made without his approval."
"you are your own person it isn't like you guys are married but just compromise with it. Jack is pretty chill and he loves the artist your dad has on his label" Sophia said and Fin nodded.
The vibration in Finns pocket was none stop and the group knew it was Jack. Finn ignored it though because he thought the more he did the more he had time to think it through. Also Jack can be insensitive sometimes and it just hurts Finn.
"aren't you gonna answer that?" Wyatt said and Finn played dumb.
"answer... um answer what?" Finn said and looked over to his side.

The group looked at him stupidly knowing what he is doing. he tried to ignore them but the buzzing kept going and going. so he sighed standing up and walking outside to answer his call. his friends stared at him through the glass window trying to figure out what he is saying.
"sorry baby i am eating with the group" Finn said answering his call. "is everything okay though?"
"just wanted to ear you voice is all.. uh so when do you want to tell me about the thing" Jack asked.
"when i get home since im out eating" Fin said. "ill facetime you later if thats okay"
"uh yeah bye i love you"
"i love you too" Finn hung up with a sigh and frown. he wanted back in and saw his friends waiting for him.
he sat down and began to eat again. His friends sighed and began to talk about their day. Finn stayed quiet since he already talked about his dilemma.
"Millie" Jaeden said grabbing her attention. "how do you feel? you know we never got to know how you truly felt.."
Jaeden and the rest were interesting as Finn wasn't. he didn't want to know if he broke her heart or not. he barely wanted to know how she was doing today.
"um i mean as long as he is happy so am i even though i technically came back for him" now those words that left Millies mouth captured Finns' attention.
"wait what" Finn said turning to her.
"i said i was happy for you even though i came back for you and you left me for someone else" Millie repeated.
"oh no.." Sophia whispered shaking her head.
"oh and let me guess you left for me too? shut up millie you are full of shit!" Finn said and she rolled her eyes.
"i came back for you!" she yelled and now that captured everyone in the restaurant attention.
"and you left without a warning! you left me without a note at least! so fuck you Millie" Finn got up. "i hope you are so fucking happy!"
Finn walked out as everyone watched. he was mad and couldn't believe she had said that. he walked home since Jaeden did drive him. it was about a thirty minute walk and a five minute drive.
when he got home he opened the message app to text Jack. he wasn't gonna tell him what had happened but he is gonna tell him the news.

Finn clicked accept with a sigh. he waited until Jacks smiling face was now showing on the screen. Finn heart started to pump fast and butterflies began. not because he was nervous but because Jack makes him feel that way.
"what did you want to tell me?" Jack asked and Finn smile left. "oh no is it bad?"
"well to me it's good but some might think it is" Finn said chuckling. "you know how my dad has the music company?"
"yeah.."
"well he asked me if i would take over when he is gone since his days are numbered, what ever that means, and i accepted it.."
"oh well did you want it or did you feel pressured?" Jack asked.
"i mean i would feel pretty stupid to not accept it. he makes millions and if i didn't a stranger would just take the business!" Finn explained.
"makes sense but im proud! you did a good thing but dont feel pressured to do it. you look mad though why?" Jack asked seeing that it looks like finn has been yelling which he knows that face.
"oh uh ill tell you another time.." Finn said looking down.
"as in tomorrow?" Jack said smiling.
"why you smiling like that?"
"because i am coming tomorrow and im not leaving until new years!" Jack said and Finn looked shocked.
"no fucking way!" Finn yelled happily.
"finn watch your language!" Finns' mom yelled from upstairs.
