"you are petty.." Jaeden said later that night as he drops off Finn stuff. he knows this isn't all Jack has since most of it is probably in the US.

"i know" Finn said smiling getting his stuff. he smiled remembering all the clothing idioms he missed. like his yellow shirt that he left when he slept over with Jack.

"maybe go easy on him too? he is heart broken as much as you are Finn.." Jaeden said. "and he cried handing over that fucking beanie! a beanie!"

"really? he could have kept it and i wouldn't have noticed if im being honest totally forgot about it" Finn said ignoring how Jaeden told him how hurt Jack is.

"Finn i know you are handling this differently somehow but come on have a heart" Jaeden said. "just talk to him do something"

"do what!" Finn flashed out. "go over and ask for his forgiveness for breaking up with me and me wanting my stuff back? if thats what you are looking for good luck because im not going to!"

"Fi—"

"no im done and im actually glad he broke my heart. you know how many times i apologized to him because i felt like i was the problem? at the end of me apologizing i would pay to get donuts just because it is out 'thing'." Finn said rolling his eyes. "i apologized even when he fucked up! even when he kissed Ellie saying he was drunk and didn't mean it! he would play as the victim everytime and i would fall for it because i love him!"

"h-he cheated on you?" Jaeden said and Finn felt tears down his face.

"he said it was nothing but i couldn't bring myself to tell him we needed a break. i couldn't because the love i have for him and now all i feel is pathetic because here he is breaking my heart" Finn said falling to his knees. Jaeden goes to his best friend side and sighed.

jaeden never knew his cousin would do this. he trusted Jack with his best friend. honestly jaeden thought finn would be the one who cheated but he was wrong. he knew finn was hurting and he didn't know what to do.

when a week passed no one hung out that much. they couldn't bring themselves to choose if Jack should go or Finn. even though Finn said both can go he wouldn't mind they still didn't want to go through the awkwardness. later to find out that Jack had to extend his stay here due to his mother wanting to come down and stay to look at houses.

Finn continued to learn about his dads company dodging the questions of where Jack is and how he is doing. Finn couldn't tell his parents and brother that he wasn't dating him anymore because it still hurt. he wouldn't show it but it did and he couldn't stop the stinging feeling when someone would say his name.

"Finn you okay?" Noah asked making Finn come out of his day dream.

"sorry what happened? i was thinking about something" Finn said and Noah laughed. the two have been hanging out more often then usual. Jaeden hoped Finn didn't move on fast since Noah tends to get that affect on Finn.

"i was just talking about how i haven't seen your parents in forever! im starting to miss them" Noah said sighing. Finn giggled as he ate the rest of his ice cream.

"you can come over im sure they would be happy to see you" Finn said. "they always tell me how they will never feel the same way with any of my other boyfriends since you were such a gentleman!"

"awe you're parents are literally the best" Noah said. "so how's it been? you know with Rose being gone for a while now.. do you feel any better?"

"i dont know about better but i have grieved and accepted the fact she is gone. still miss her like crazy but i know she is looking after me" Finn said.

"and what about the break up? how is that going?" Noah asked as they start to walk to Finns house.

"its hard but im slowly getting better. just gotta realize something are just not meant to be" Finn said and Noah nodded.

"you guys were cute i am sorry for what happened but maybe destiny (or even saint aka the author) has a plan for you guys? maybe it isn't over yet?" Noah said and Finn shrugged.

"maybe they do or maybe they just helped me with the long run" Finn said has they walked up his drive way.

"speaking of the devil.." Noah said and turned to see Jack and Jaeden in the front lawn waiting for their parents. "Hi Jaeden!"

"huh?" Jaeden turned around and saw Noah and Finn. "hi Noah! Hi Finn!"

"hi! you guys are going to your sunday family lunch?" Finn asked and Jaeden nodded. Jack was looking at Noah and Finn with a sad look.

"yeah you want to hang out when we are done?" Jaeden asked and Finn nodded.

"just text me!" Finn said and that was it. Finn and Noah went inside the house being greeted by Finns parents in the living room.

Finns parents were glad to see Noah asking him so many questions and catching up with him. then noah started to catch up with his parents asking them how the job is and whats been new.

when the sun was setting Noah had left. Finn parents still in the living room asking their sons to come in the living room. Finn felt nervous since family meetings were rare and last time they had one they found out that Rose didn't make it. so when Finn and Nick sat across from their parents they knew something was wrong.
