"we need a break.."

finn never saw those words coming. he thought it was a dream; a nightmare. yet jack sits in front of him telling him that they need a break.

"why?" finn asked heartbroken. he is holding back the tears because he didn't want jack to see how he hurt him.

"finn.." jack said slowly. "i just need space to collect my thoughts."

"i understand" finn said getting up. "ill see you around"

"finn no stay for a bit" jack said grabbing his whole life from leaving. finn looked at him hurt but started to chuckle.

"you want me to stay after you just broke it off with me? do you really think that i am not a bit heart broken by this?" finn asked. "jack i cannot believe you!"

"finn—"

"no dont finn me! i just cant believe you right now. you dont think do you? you just do without thinking" Finn said and Jack was completely hurt.

"finn i broke it off because i need some time to think of my future! also you specially need to think about yourself! you need to love yourself before you love anyone else! how do i know you aren't lying to me when you tell me you love me when you lie to yourself that you love yourself? huh? please tell me! we both need this break if anything" jack said.

"so your solution is to break up with someone who has helped you? you really think that i cant help you with your future? you are leaving me when we both need each other the most?" finn said waiting for jack to answer. "you know what? i take back my statement about you not thinking because you do but you only think about yourself. maybe next time think about other peoples feelings because you don't know how to do that"

finn left the room slamming the door. tears made their way to his eyes as he runs down stairs leaving the house. he ran across the street and into his house. when he entered he broke down completely. he actually thought jack was the one. he thought he was gonna marry him and start a family. the thought of growing old with jack was the best feeling but now finn wont know how that feels like.

he got up and headed to his room. when he opened the door he saw jaeden there under the covers on his phone. finn ran to his best friend hugging him crying. jaeden had heard the whole thing as did the rest of the household. so when he heard finn slam the door he quickly went down his window and ran to his best friends house to check up on him.

"he doesn't care and i hate that he
doesn't" finn chocked out. jaeden sighed knowing that jack can be a complete asshole to others feelings.

"i told him two years ago to get away from him because he doesn't know how to think about others feelings but his" jaeden said. finn say up rubbing his eyes.

"sometimes i wondered what would happen if millie would have stayed.." finn said and jaeden nodded. "i probably would be happy and not heart broken about a stupid boy."

"pretty stupid boy since you are probably gonna make millions because of the company of your dads while he will be regretting his life decision" jaeden said which earned a giggle from finn. "you wanna go get donuts? ive been craving them."

"no.." finn said. "but i can watch you eat one!"

"that's weird.. also now that im thinking of it donuts dont see appropriate right now.." jaeden said and finn nodded with a frown.

"how about we go out? to those college parties we always get invited to but also turn down? we can bring wyatt, sophia, and millie! they are old enough" finn said and jaeden shrugged.

"who's party? definitely not Micheals because Wyatt will beat him if he flirts with me again" jaeden says.

"well noah happens to be having a party at his sorority house" finn said smirking. "also im his favorite so we will get in."

"you sure? you haven't spoken to him since jack got into the picture" jaeden said. "it would also be awkward yall still probably have feelings for each other! to add on that millie would be going!"

"noah had a girlfriend! also ive texted him a couple of times just not like it was before.. come on jaeden!" finn said and with a sigh jaeden gave in.

"fine! just we have to be home by one thirty" jaeden said and finn squeals happily.

"lets text the others!"
