It's almost the start of the new school year and today, exactly three days before the first day, may try outs and audition kami para sa clubs na napili namin. We were required to choose atleast three clubs and mag try-out sa mga yun and see kung saan papasa or if pumasa ka sa one or more na club nasayo na kung anong pipiliin mo.
Sadly, volleyball isn't available kasi wala pa daw silang slots na open for try-outs, so here I am trying out for cheer cadets. They are the ones who goes to every game and cheers for their school's team. Yung training neto parang athlete din eh, mahirap haha
The things they made us do isn't really hard for me since I did more of these when I was training volleyball in highschool.
We jogged five laps across feu's freedom park and that is the first thing that we've done and we also did some core excercises, leg work outs and now we're practicing the cheers and the steps that we have to perform by group in order to join the team.

That's our final cheer for the auditions and it's now done!
They'll tell us later the results so now I'm going to my second choice which is the Photography.
The instructor told us to take three different kinds of pictures. Landscape, standard and the other one which will show or express something about our government.
I roamed around the campus to take photos. I am actually alone since I dont know anyone here and we havent formally started classes so wala pa kong nakikilala sa blockmates ko. I am an incoming first year college and I am quite nervous since I am the type of person na hindi friendly pero maraming friends hahaha
How did that happen? Simply because they are the ones who approach me. Madalas rin na pag may first impression chuchu na activity or something sa room I often get to read "mataray" "maarte" "masungit" and mga negative na first impressions pero pag nakikilala na nila ako dun na nila sinasabi sakin na di naman daw pala ako ganon and all. Kaya siguro sanay na rin ako na may isang lalapit lang sakin tapos ipapakilala ako sa iba and that's how I gain friends.
Sanay na kasi ako na tahimik lang eh kahit nung past years sa highschool lagi lang din akong tahimik. Ayoko kasi yung napapansin ako ganon pero close naman ako sa mga section na napupuntahan ko. Naranasan ko na rin kasing masangkot sa issues sa school kaya mas pinipili ko nalang ngayon yung lowkey na life sa campus, tho I know na majority of the students sa school na pinanggalingan ko eh kilala ako, lalo na ng mga lower levels as a badass girl haha kasi naman lakas makapanira ng mga studyante don. Anyways, that's one of the reasons kung bakit pinili kong lumipat ng school.
So I guess I'll try to be more friendly from now on since this is a university and halo-halong tao na ang makakasalamuha ko dito.
After taking the pictures that I need I immediately went back to the Nursing Building to show the photos to the moderator.
I was qualified and I can already pass my form sa Photographers Guild kasi pasado ako but since my first choice and my priority is the Cheer Cadets, I went back muna sa Freedom Park to know the results and saktong pagdating ko tinawag na kami.
"Okay so may I talk to the following people please. Danica Arceo, Ella Buendia, Shaira Benitez,..." tawag nung instructor so I stood up and went to her.
