"If you give me caffeine and let me leave here, I swear I'll do anything you want."

Floating Ocean Prison, April 2016-

It had been three days since Tony Stark had dropped by the prison, and in that time everyone had become restless. There was nothing to do, and everyone was mainly sulking in silence. The only time everyone would really talk would be when food came around, and the five had enough energy to actually socialize.

Alison had been taking constant naps, exhausted from doing nothing. She was normally awake when everyone else was asleep during the night, her mind plagued with the thoughts of Charles and how he was doing. To say that she was missing her younger brother was an understatement at the very least.

The prison guards on duty had come to learn everyone's sleeping schedules, and most of the time when everyone was asleep there wouldn't even be a guard on duty. Alison was stuck through the darkness of the designated sleeping hours alone, with the sound of the waves to pass the time.

It was currently what Alison assumed to be 3 A.M. , as the pitch black still covered the entire prison. Scott was actually awake at the moment, and could be heard pacing around his cell, thinking that everyone else was in a deep sleep and he could worry in peace.

"Scott?" Alison croaked out, speaking in a hushed voice to her "cellmate" as to not wake up everyone else. "You're still awake ?" Her voice was dry and scratchy, having not talked in over 9 hours.

"Unfortunately." Scott laughed, shaking his head with slight amusement. "The thought of my daughter had been keeping me awake all night. Even though I don't have custody of her, she's still my daughter, and the light of my life."

"Well, I mean, it could be worse. We could be getting beat up, split up from our families forever, being sued-" Alison stopped herself, realizing that the last two were actually going to happen in reality if they weren't careful. "A lot of bad things could of happened."

Yawning, Scott paused for a minute before speaking again, changing the subject completely. "I really want a coffee right now. What is it- 4 A.M.?" He suggested a time, sitting back down on what could be considered his bed.

"I assume it's around 3, maybe 3:15 at the latest." Alison shrugged, yawning out of pure nature after hearing Scott's own yawn. "And yeah, caffeine would probably be one of the best things in the universe at the moment. Plus food that isn't mush."

Scott chuckled in agreement, sighing as he thought of actual food. "Food sounds so good. Especially a Boudin sourdough bread bowl with clam chowder and-" The man wanted to go on, but he plopped down on his bed, falling asleep in seconds. Having Cassie out of his thoughts, Scott's mind was comforted- for now, at least.

Alison sighed, hearing Scott fall back onto his bed and crash into sleep. She was laying on her bed, her eyes staring at the top of her ceiling as she played songs stuck in her head over and over again. It was an attempt to help her fall asleep, and it was failing miserably.
