THANK YOU.
No, really. THANK YOU!
You've made this book become what it is (which isn't much, but it still means a lot to me). This is all because you supported this book, and made it become a reality. I probably wouldn't have continued this book to its completion if you guys hadn't been there, supporting me to the full end like you have.
You have no idea how much your support means to me, and I have no other way to express it than to continue the stories that I'm writing and to just continue making books for you. And to write and keep writing as well, I suppose.
Holy shit. It just hit me that I finished this book, and that it means my journey full of anxiety, stress, and confiding in writing this book while my world went to shit is over. Um, wow. I'm kind of at a loss for words. This has been so amazing, and this journey is one that I'm sad to see end.
But don't worry, my journey with Alison Marnell isn't over. Not by a long shot. I plan to continue writing her until I die, either of exhaustion or old age. But really, thank you so much! Sorry for this little ramble in the middle of me thanking you guys, but really, it means a lot to me.
Anyways, I think it's time for a little backstory on this book-
Around a year and a half ago, I got into Marvel on the Fourth of July. Cap's 99th birthday to be exact (details don't really matter haha). And later, at the end of the month, I decided that I wanted to do a marvel book.
Now it wasn't this, and it most certainly wasn't very good, but, the next month, early in August, while my brother was playing at a sports tournament out of state I stayed in the hotel room and drafted up a character. She would become Alison Marnell, although it was the roughest rough draft in existence. A different face claim, attitude, guardian, brother, family....
Yeah, she was weird. I mean she still is in an amazing beautiful way, and her tone is still inconsistent, BUT I'M WORKING ON IT!
I think I did pretty decent for my debut book.
Regardless, over time, I slowly started to build up to what Alison is today. She's kind of a mess, although to be honest, she's pretty heavily based off of me, so yeah, Alison's my messy brain child. She's everything I am and that I want to be, with a younger brother that's like a billion times better than my sibling. (don't worry, I still love my sibling)
I'm currently working on revamping this book with a BETTER character arc for Alison, so if you see me republish old chapters, that is what I'm doing. I'm making a decent book better, with a plot line and character arc that I think will be perfect for my baby girl!
You might also realize that I had some characters I wanted to develop and then didn't because my plot went a different way. I want to apologize to those characters in my brain because I still feel bad about that.
And after starting and developing this book, and it was shaped into what it was, I got some people who actually read my book! They're all still here to give me advice, and I'd like to personally thank them now.
DEDICATIONS
mercuryindustries for literally letting me annoy her for anything. whether it be for extraction from the quantum realm/ being buzzed in to a small and important detail for the plot of this book, or for a chapter, she's always been there. She has a fantastic Tony Stark daughter book, and allowed me to warp her main character so she could fit into my book. oh! And she loves to annoy me to update.
stark-11-industries oh boy, what can I say about this gal. She has one of the best Tony Stark daughter fics ever, and let me use Skylar in my book. She was the OG to read my book, and her comments still make me laugh when I reread the book. Thank you so much friendo, you've truly impacted the way I write this book. And you warned me about Infinity War, and we cried about it together. Plus, you let me take over The Breeze, and how amazeballs is that? True friend, right here.
h0nestIy because, um, what can I say about this amazing gal? She makes me laugh with every comment she places on this book, helps me draft ideas by letting me bounce them off of her, and is the best rant buddy anyone can ask for. I'm so happy that we connected, and I can't wait to work with you on the countless books that you've created plots for me for and to help you out as well. thanks baeeeee
remuslupout for being my graphic goddess and providing the best cover on existence. thank you for always filling my message board with positivity and completing my memes. You spread so much love to me and to everyone around you, and even though you haven't read this book, your little notes on my message board are what helped me continue working on this book, even when I couldn't. love ya ash internet sibling
PixyStik & HopeDrop for being great people and helping me design the origins of a ton of stuff in this book, (supersuit and Charles, so those are important) this couldn't of happened without you!
OH YEAH, ALISON'S STORY WILL CONTINUE IN:
Ash and Dust
