Dear Diary, it's the start of a new year, Ely and I are happier than ever, but I would like to tell you something that happened to us, something that united us even more, and showed us that our love can surpass any odd.
This story was told to us by various people, friends and acquaintances, and also the fact that happened to my beloved and me:
It's the year 90XX, the X change everytime 10000 years pass, I met Ely when one of the X was on its 10001 year, so the date hasn't changed, even after all this time.
Some years ago
Remember when I told you about the newscast I saw in my third monthiversary with Ely?
About the shady people the police was talking about?
They struck, no one was expecting them, things in 90XX are too peaceful for anyone to think that there will be trouble.
They call themselves the Cosmic Syndicate, they are a bunch of good for nothing criminals formed by various species, including humans.
They are very organized. They attacked several landmarks, since various species conformed the Syndicate, it was no surprise some had powers.
From flamethrower to titanium claws, the Cosmic Syndicate, or Cyndicate for short, had an army of super-powered members.
Lead by a greedy human witch, they only wanted one thing, war.
