Ely and I looked at each other, we knew what this was, it was the same thing that happened when we fought against that panther and the lizard.
It was the power of our love!
"Bwaah!" "this light!" "run!", the grunts left the building running.
"No!, return here this instant!"
As Delta screamed "Impossible!", we gleamed with a flash so bright that it illuminated the entire building.
When it went away, Ely and I looked at each other and giggled.
Delta was lying on the floor.
Suddenly, we saw black smoke coming out from him.
"ugh" he muttered.
Ely and I were happy we were able to win, but we couldn't help feeling bad for the guy. He was from my species after all.
"Are you alright?" Ely got to his side and helped him stand.
"W-where am I?" he said, making us rise an eyebrow. Delta looked at us and asked: "Who are you?"
We didn't know what to think, suddenly the man who tried to destroy us was unable to recognize us.
"Um, My name is Sophia, and this is my girlfriend Elaine" I replied.
"Sophia, Elaine, what's going on here?" he asked. Ely and I entered the mayor's office that was in that floor, and we sat Delta on a couch.
"I can't remember anything, the last thing I do is being in my lab back at Alpha City" he said, Alpha City was a place from my planet. "And... that's all you can recall mr.?" I asked.
"My name is Delta" he told us again, although this time he didn't added the professor title.
Ely and I gave a concerned look at each other. Something was fishy.
